well, when I scrapbook, (which I am way behind) I have 4 total... 1 for Morghan, 1 for Vin, 1 for family and 1 for trips... Oh, and I started to re-do our wedding album...
that way I can put in kid specific pics in their own album and the ones w/more than one kid in it in the "family" album...
sometimes for special things I do duplicates for each... get doubles of the pictures and do similar layouts for each kid... but you have way more kids than I do, so I don't know if that will work for you....

Hi Kathy, I'm here just for a few minutes though. We are having a yard sale at my sisters tommorow and the girls wanted to bake some cookies to sell. They are in the oven now so I decided to check in. My Disney cart came today I didn't even open it yet. Don't know when I will get to it either. I am getting to go to a friends house for a couple hours on Monday to scrap. I hope I can get alot done. I have a feeling we may end up doing alot of chatting. That will be fun also.

Thats how it goes all to often went and scrapbooked 2 pages on Wed it took a little over an hour Ithink we talked for 2(he,he). Just a hint make sure if you intend to cut charactures with your cart to have some buff cs for faces and black cs for the main charature. I looked along time to find the right color for the face.
Why didnt Cricut come out with Disney paper packs, and if they did why doesn't anyone carry them?

I am going to try to make some of your cute purses for my little class of 4-5 year olds to decorate for their Moms on Sunday, and fill with some candy. I was going to do that tonight, but I am CB'ing tonight trying my paisley dies. Going to cut Purses tomorrow or maybe tonight, it's still early.

That would be a great idea for mothers day! You could cut out flowers and make pipe cleaners stems for them to put in the purses, just an idea, I am full of ideas when it is not my own stuff,LOL

Hey guess what, I am scrapbooking, I am on layout #3 already tonight, and I am using my cricut!!!

Hi! We just got home about 1/2 hour ago. We had to run DD up to Aspen for a sleepover party (at the St. Regis, no less! That is just nuts!). Went out for pizza with DS afterward. Long day with the kids today, as they were out of school today. I haven't done a single bit of crafting all week, and it is killing me. I had originally planned to scrap into the wee hours tonight, but I am beat. Both of my kids talked & asked questions non-stop today. I definitely need to find some crafting time over the weekend, or my head's gonna splode (LOL!). I did get registered for convention yesterday, along with my room reservation. It's strange, but I am not quite as excited about it as I was 2 months ago. I am sure the excitement will return as it gets closer.

Kathy: I love what you have done with the Disney cutouts. Thanks for the tip on the buff paper. What color did you end up using? I have tons of black, so I'm OK on that front.

Conni: is that you in your new avatar pic?

Wendie: good luck and have fun with your yard sale tomorrow!

Re: scrapbooks. I currently have just been doing a family book and separate albums if it was a big vacation. I am really behind though, as I haven't even completed 1 family book yet. I also plan to do a lifebook album for each of my kids. I really need to do the kids' lifebooks, but I am finding it difficult to get started. Maybe I need to start with easy stuff (like birthdays, school year, etc.), then work towards the tough stuff. I really got on a roll with the scrapping once I started using the Cricut. Haven't scrapped a page in 2-3 weeks, though, as I have needed to do quite a few cards. I can't wait to get back to the scrapping.

Yeah! I cut out the wee little purses. I also cut out a large tag flower window mirror. i am going to stap something on it. It just seems really wierd that the tag is going to be bigger than the purse attached. It's kind of like opposite day. KWIM
I am thinking if I am lucky I can get a smarty or chapstick in the purse with a few kisses, Then I figure I'll attach the tag card. I'll post whatever I figure out tomorrow, or Monday, I know I have a busy day on Tomorrow or should I say today.

I wanted to get this dusty rose color it was the palest tan pink but it only came in a large pack for about 13$ at michaels. I settled for a very light tan a shade darker than off white. I dont know the color I dont think it was labelled I got it at Michaels, they only had one sheet. I just know I went lighter than I thought I should. I was glad I did when I saw the black next to it. The white and black really make the color of the face stand out. The color was very simalar to the lightest color you get when you buy the assorted neutral colored card stock buy georgia pacific in the stationary area. kind of a hair darker than a manilla file folder. Hi my Cricut friends! I've not been on here much in the last couple of days. Things are nuts around here!!!

I think I need to go feed my Cricut and come up with a Mother's Day project for my Sunday school class. They are only 2, so it can't be anything hard, but I want it to be cute. KWIM???

Conni - great avatar!! It's so good to see you!

Hi girls. Well, I pulled out my Cricut briefly last night to make these quick graduation cards. What do you think?

Thanks for the heads up about the paper. What did you end up using? I have blush blossom, that is the color I use when I color faces.

Thanks Lori, the yard sale went well I only took toys and little odds and ends. I still made 78.00 and what was leftmy BIL took to Goodwill for me so I brought nothing back home with me. I also enjoyed hanging with my sister and her family, we don't get to do that as often as we should. My Dad and stepmom even stopped over to hang with us for awhile. We all had fun but we are very tired from stayong out in the sun all day.

Not Bad for a day of visisting. Enough to buy a cart and got rid of all the stuff.
I'ld even skip the money if your BIL wants to come and haul the junk away! Less to clean Up KWIM

Default Class mothers day project

Okay I just wanted to post what I made for my class at church to make fo rtheir Mom's.
I used Minni Monograms and cut a 4" square O, using real dial size. I trimmed the corners of a 4" coaster to match, I cut Purses using TBBM at 5 1/2" then I used my Cuddle bug and cut out two flowers, then attached them to a strip of paper.
The class is going to color the strip of paper I printed up that Says Mother I love you thenroll it around the chapstick and put the strip around it witht the flower. There going to put a few kisses & smarties in the purse. The coaster has a 2" strip of Heavy Magnet tape stuck to the back and says Happy Mothers day 2007. I attached strips of ultra sticky tape to the fron tof the coaster, to attach a picture and they can attach the frame with whichever side of the paper they want to show for a frame. I should of thought of this last week then I could of had the pictures ready but we are taking them in class today.

Ha! No I haven't. We took DS to karate yesterday morning at 9:00, came home and changed and went to see Monsters on the Beach (monster trucks) and then went to a picnic his karate academy held. We got home after 5:00 and we were all exhausted. I managed to get in a few loads of laundry but, feel asleep early ... maybe today after nap I can work on a few things but, I won't hold my breath!

Happy Mother's Day, Everyone! I got a new video camera .. mostly because DH will be missing DS's preschool graduation and wanted it taped ... now I have to tape it, take pictures and actually watch it while it's going on!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day, you all deserve it!
