Welcome Kimberly, I only got mine a few weeks ago, but have been hanging around here since the beginning of time, ha ha. Hopefully you will get one soon

Just thought I would share, in case anyone else wants to try it.

that is what happens when you talk to much about other stuff rather than a cricut, they kick you over there . This is the real cricut stuff and over there is just the gabbing

I am not sure that this has been added to your thread but here is a great gal who has CricutCheatSheets...they are awesome! You go to this website:
group.yahoo.com/group/CricutCheatSheet[/url]
She has printed up two sets that go by cartridge or by alpha of what you may be looking for, ex: balloon, circle, etc. She also has a quick cheat on pressure, depth, etc. for different papers.
HTH!!! Enjoy!
Hey, girls! Long time, no chat! My life has been sooo crazy (whose isn't?)! I have missed chatting with y'all. I'll hafta fix that! I get to meet with Kathy (Jostvig) today! Yahoo! I'm picking up some stuff from Kim's for her, then we are meeting to have lunch. What fun! I DID get to make a card with my Cricut and bug, though. I am making 20 of them for a swap I am in. The challenge was to use a circle or oval scallop. Since I only have the mega circle scallop, I improvised. I used the George for the circles and the Mini Monograms for the large scallop. Whaddya think?
That is too cute.... maybe we should start a "Cricut Zoo-torial".... oh, did I just say that??? I mean a Cricut Too-torial... I mean Tutorial....
Like the sketch layout, or how to use it... like... give a sketch or technique to use w/the cricut and see what we come up with... I mean those that want to do it like the sketch challenge, if you want you can.... the Cricut Challenge???
Me?????? Are you kidding????? Have you tried that thing???? It does SOOOOOOO much .... I'm telling you, it's the best cart out there!! It can make the most awesome cut-out cards, and you can do the letters - both upper and lower case - separately from the animals. Then, you have layers for the animals. There's scenery and great things like "thanks," "happy birthday," and "congrats." It's such a great cartridge ....

Love the scallops and circles, Wendy! Have fun meeting with Kathy today. Tell her to drive carefully on her way back home.

What a fun idea! I know I am barely scratching the surface of what the cricut can do. We are getting really bad with the "Zooballoo" words.

I've been dying to make this. I was just waiting on the papers to arrive. I bought this frame for $1 at Michaels the day I bought my cricut. I used the George and Basic Shapes on the slotted setting to make this. It's kinda hard to see in the picture, but I did the faux linen technique on the background. I also painted the frames brown before I started.
Counselo, this is just stunning! You are just diving into this little machine, aren't you?! Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea.

Ok ... your fault ... YOU got me started .....
That's funny! Did someone really ask Shell if she liked Zoo?? That's like asking a cat if it likes a mouse!!
I'm going to try to get on my bug today and get some pages done. My mom & sis are coming to visit in about 6 weeks and I want to get caught up by then so we can work on some fun stuff!!
Hope you are all having a great day. We have some big "tornatic" storms coming in in the next hour. Wish me luck! I'm such a baby in those!!

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You need to check out my gallery and the galleries of several other Cricuteers. That cart can be used for so many things. Don't let the little animals fool you ....

I actually went to the Cricut site and checked out the images there! Way way cool cartridge. Mothers day cannot come fast enough. If anyone hears of a good sale on the actual machine, would you be kind enough to let me know? I'd really appreciate it!

The images are only half of it. The extra functions are *awesome* on this cart.
I'll be glad to let you know if I hear of anything. Good news like that usually spreads fast on here.
