This is the link if you scroll to the bottom and the last page has the carts.
The link works all the new carts seem aimed at educators/teachers.

great cards Sandi...I've never made an ATC either, but it looks fine to me. I might not have to been so crazy to get the big blossom if I'd known I was getting the cricut with that flower in george.

I found some through Kim, the Local stores are all sold out.(forweeks&weeks).. I haven't been able to get any, I am picking them up next week. Its just a drag because sometimes the paper is coming loose if I am not careful about placement. I rotate three mats, I am going to scrub them up again today and hopefully make them last through this week.

Me too!!! that is about all our Joann's had last week was the mats and blades... they were out of most of their carts... I'm just a state away, so it wouldn't be that long to ship to you...

redone cards?

I am also in the very long process of doing a wedding scrapbook for a friend. I handmade 30 (small) notecards for the bride to give her friends and family. I get them back in dribs and drabs (the wedding isn't until next week, but I sent these out in January to get some of the work out of the way.)

Well I got one back in the mail today. It was a simple design just an ivory "george" flower on a light teal card (her wedding colors)

The recipient had put a unicorn landscape sticker over 1/2 of the card. The card inside had matching unicorn landscape paper glued into it for the note to the bride/groom.

I am so upset. I spent weeks getting those mini cards together! I wanted simple designs since the scrapbook would also have pictures (obvious) and embellishments to come. Every one of the 30 cards was different and unique. I'm so sad I just had to vent to you girls.

I understand the time you put into this scrapbook, but everyone has their own idea about "style". If anything, it will be a conversation piece. Not worth anymore venting...keep plugging away. I just went through this myself with my wedding.

I am sure the mini cards will be fine, maybe the bride has an inside joke about Unicorns with who ever. It might be very meaningful. I am sure your work will still be appreciated.

I'm sorry this isn't going like you planned. Some people just don't think things through. Like others have said, just try to make the best of it. The bride & groom will appreciate your efforts I'm sure.

Default Wow!

How did this thread get over 650 posts in one week!?!

My A.C. Moore had all cartridges old and new at 50% off. Of course they were all out of stock and the sale ended sunday, so I'm going tonight to pick up my rain checked cartridges. I'm getting probably 8 of them or so. I can't wait till they come out with a winnie the pooh cartridge as I'm a huge tigger fan!

Question about operation of cricut. Quite a few times, I've typed in what I wanted, pressed cut and it would act like it's going to start and then all of the suddent it freezes up. It won't do anything, so I have to turn it off, restart and start all over. Has this happened to anyone else?

Connie said a similar thing happened to her with one of her carts and Provocraft was sending her a new one. If the screen isn't giving you a message like to many charactures or something try a different cart. If it is just going blank.. Is it always the same cart, then it might be the cart. If it is happening with everycart try the reset sequence from the sticky cricut FAQ's thread and if that doesn't work you might have a faulty bug and need to get it replaced from Provo Craft. HTH.

Default I didn't think it was just one cart...

I used tags, boxes and more and last night I was using george & Basic shapes and another font I can't think of at the moment. My friend brought hers over so I could show her some things and it happened once to her using her own cartridge. So I thought maybe this was something common. I will check out the restart sequence and see if that helps.

If anyone is interested...I just couldn't resist (sorry if someone else is already doing this) but I started a scrapbook swap using the mickey and friends cartridge for either 6x6 or 12x12 pages if anyone wants to join. I find that since they split up the swap forum, its really hard to get people to sign up for sb swaps.

Do you turn your machine off before changing cartridges? Sometimes "hot swapping" will cause the little bug to do strange things, so always turn it off before changing carts! And congratulations on getting 8 new carts. That is so exciting!

Has anyone bought carts from Supergal777 at ebay before.
I have emailed her several times since I ordered last week and called the phone number several times to day and I have gotten no response. I wish she would call or email. I ordered 2 carts and one ended up being one that was on sale so I just wanted to switch it with another one. When I called this mornign because I got an email saying the shipping label was printed, and I still haven't heard from her.
Then today I started calling the phone number every hour and the first call I got an answering machine and I left a message, the second call I got a hang up beep, beep, beep, and the rest of the day, the message said no one is available to take your call, please call back. I left my phone number but I havent heard a thing.
I am not upset but I am wishing she would call or email so I knew what was up since I have emailed her 5 times about switching the order. I noticed more carts were listed today. I guess well see what happens.
If anyone knows her have her contact me. Thanks

I know Robyn has ordered from her several times. I just ordered Walk in My Garden from her a few weeks ago. Since I had no problems or issues, I never had to contact her. I hope you get it worked out . . .

I have heard that communication is not her strong point, as in she doesn't reply to messages or leave Ebay feedback. I haven't ordered from her, so I don't have any personal experience. I do believe the orders usually arrive within 2 weeks. I hope you can get this straightened out with her.

I just checked Ebay, and she has quite a few carts listed for $45 each, plus $5 shipping. The Disney carts are $65 each. Just thought I would share, in case anyone is feeling the "need" to feed their machine something new. I'm bummed she doesn't have New Arrival.

I will have to try that and see if it fixes the problem. I know that at least two of the different days I experienced that, I swapped them without turning it off.

Disappointing trip to A.C. Moore last night for cricket cartridges. They didn't have a single one yet that I had put on rain check. The manager said they'd be in monday. So I figured by wednesday it shouldn't be a problem if they were rainchecked, well, a different manager who was on last night said they didn't any that were in her order for monday. So maybe they'd get them today! I was so mad! My friend had problems with cricut cartridges rainchecked at this store before so I can just imagine it's going to be pulling teeth to get mine.

Default JoAnn's Coupons

My JoAnn allowed me to use the daffodil 50% off coupon that came in the flyer on the Doodlecharms cartridge. She said since it the coupon didn't say anything about the shape cartidges only the machine and the fonts. They also allowed me to use the coupon that came by e-mail on the cutting mats since it was from a different source. Loving my JoAnn's and those coupons.

Default Hey Joann!

My maiden name is Badger. I never met anyone who wasn't related with that last name.

Good morning gals, not much going on here. The weather is sunny, but windy, so I am trying to do a few things outside. As my hubby pointed out last night garter snake season has begun I hate the little buggers, they are all over our yard and in the garage!

Havn;t been creating much, did get Cindy's card finished, but don't want to poat it until I give it to her, or let her post it. Maybe today I will get to this weeks sketch challenge.

Where is Robyn these days, she hasn't been by in a while?

Yes, I've ordered from her two times. She does not respond to any e-mails or phone calls. She throws in extras, that is why I like her, but she is very hard to communicate with. I tried to switch a cart once but she sent out the one I ordered and did not respond with me. I just had to take what I won.

Good luck!
Robyn

Yes, you definitely HAVE to turn off your machine in between carts. That can cause serious problems to your bug.

Good luck!

Sorry that I've been out of the loop. I'm helping out a friend by babysitting an additional 2 year old and 5 year old. Things are just CRAZY around here with 5 little boys during the day that are all 5 and under. I just have not had time to sit on the computer. That's both good and bad. I have got a lot of chores done, though.

I haven't played with my Cricut yet but I did order some mats today from QVC. They are very reasonable. You can get 4 mats and 2 blades for $18 plus shipping. Also, our Hobby Lobbys are telling us that we can use the 40% off coupon on blades and mats. That's a super deal, too!!
