Yea for new carts! Now you have to add a Zooballoo-type siggy line. Shell will be so proud you have joined the cult (oops, I mean club!).

Mikes also had all the new cuttlebug stuff, I was so surprised.

Lori your pages are so nice.

It's fun to figure out something new on the puter. I try not to do it more than once a month, though, so my brain doesn't explode (LOL!). I love that album, too. I just bought another one from her site, for our trip earlier this year. If you need to do a vacation album, she has a lot of great stuff.

I second that! I love the font in base camp and I LOVE the little stamp, it is great for on cards, here is another plug for Cindy Haffners gallery, her cards are a great example of the cricut!!

It's not related to the Cricut ... I've read others mentioning it on different threads and that M's was going to carry it but, nobody is really sure what it is made up of.

Default AC Moore Prices

The 'sale price' at AC Moore for carts is 54.95; I'm not even going to bother going by there ... unless somebody really, really wants something. But, I am going to M's in a bit and will see if they hold true to the ad ... fingers crossed.

Quick question about TBBM....

Do match 1 and match 2 go together to create a matchbox? I'm a little confused there. I want to make a box to hold business cards as a gift.

Okay, I tried cutting them both the same size and I can't get Match 1 to fit inside Match 2. Then I tried the shadow setting for Match 2. That didn't do anything different. What am I doing wrong?

In the meantime I did manage to make this purse.

Consuelo, that purse is seriously cute! I really want to play with this cart a bit, but I have a few cards I "have" to get done with first. I think Wendybell has done the matchbooks, so she may be able to answer your question better.

The answer is that they are both the same size. To fix it, When you cut out the case (match 1), don't follow the tick marks to score. I find that adding an extra 1/16 inch to each score gives you enough room for the match 2 to fit snuggly and still slide in and out. Did that help? I'm almost done with it. I will post in a little bit.

Let me clarify...score the first score on the tick marks. On the 2nd set of tick marks add 1/16 inch. On the 3rd set of tick marks add 2/16 inch. On the 4th set of tick marks add 3/16 inches.
Does that make more sense?

I just finished my first Cricut card. I used Shell's favorite cart for the entire card. You can see it here:

Inside

Please be kind! This seemed like a bit of work to me, maybe it's because I haven't used this cart very much? I really like the cutout words on the card - such a cool feature!

Please be kind! This seemed like a bit of work to me, maybe it's because I haven't used this cart very much? I really like the cutout words on the card - such a cool feature!
