Happy Stampin!
Kimber
I am sure you'll pick it up really quick,

withthe cuttle bug you just layer the pieces ti cut or emboss. plate "A" first then "B" then the embossing folder with paper inthe middle or die cut facing up then paper then second "B" plate.

this layering works with the Cuttlebug dies and folders their is a thread with the layers to use for other companies products in it in a document you can print up. It is in the Cuttlebug FAQ thread if you click forums up at the top and then on the one that says tools it will be toward the top of the list, right next too the Cricut FAQ thread

Does anyone know if you can use the Cricut markers in the regular Cricut machine, or do you need the Script machine? I was under the impression that the Script machine was just the regular Cricut bundled with the markers for QVC. TIA.

If I understand correctly, the pens just replace the cutting blade in any of the Cricut machines. It doesn't matter if it is the baby bug or ebug.

Clever to make a reference sheet like that handy when you want to fit a stamped image in it.

Happy Stampin! And thanks so much!

You can easily find the thread if you go to Quick Links (on top of the forums and such on each page) and to User CP. Threads that you have posted in should be in there as 'subscribed threads'. I use that to find the main threads that I post in or am interested in. Make sense????

I think you will do just fine on here, and we welcome you!!!!!

Saw your question, and that you'd already ordered NA by the time I looked, lol. Have fun with your NA, it would've been a hard decision for me too, because I'd love to have both of those carts!

Also do you go through a lot of mats? Boy mine sure don't seem to last a long time & I do change which side of it I put in so I am not just using it one way.
I like the New Arrival Cart. also although I have not bought that one...YET!
I unplug mine when I'm not using it, or if it'll be awhile before I'll be using it again. When it's been plugged in or used a bunch, it starts acting wonky, like the screen will go blank when you press cut. Keeping it unplugged seems to help that.

I do go through a lot of mats, but I've been using my bug a ton lately. I move the paper around also, but the mats can only be used so many times. HTH

thanks I should have ask this question sooner. I just finished cutting out 160 favor boxes for my sisters wedding. I was afraid of messing up my bug so I only cut 10 a day. Needless to say it took awhile.

Also a heads up I was in Pat Catans yesterday and they have the Expressions machine with 2 cart. for $299. don't know if this has been posted or not.

Hey everyone! I have a very busy week but plan to do something with my bug this week!! I posted some jewelry I made on my blog along with a box I made with TBBM to put them in. They were a huge hit at church today. I will be making some more of them for a mother's party I am having on Tueaday. There are 6 of us exchanging gifts and I made everyone jewelry. Fun, fun, fun!!

I made them for the teachers too and what a huge hit it was for them. They even overpaid me to do the class with the kids.
I use to work at school and lost my job last year and I had so much fun seeing all the kids again. I told them to let me know what the parents thought of their present. Hopefully the teachers will call me.

Robin, I checked out your blog too....love the jewelry!
Check out mine and add a link to it if you like it.

Hope you all have a great night! I went up stairs to play with my bug and the DS trial software but for some reason the trial isn't working anymore. Does it only work for a few days?? The one I ordered should be shipped this week hopefully. I want to play while my kids are home from school.

My 16 year old daughter and her friend are doing a project, a puppet show about "The Good Earth" for English. They have made dolls 7 1/4" with paper dolls, market place, houses, castle, farm animals, and on and on! 20 puppets and 5 different scenes!! I hope to get some pictures when they are done. It is looking so cute. I am so happy to see my bug being such a big help already to my kids for their school projects. Also, last week my son's class was making cards for a cancer victim. I sent a baggie filled with die cuts and he came back with only some leaves. I did make a lot of those.

Bummer robyn I havent tried mine today I dont know sometimes they are set for a certain number fo uses. I think thats why kim is getting the software late I am thinking they are hoping to get a lot of activations form the trial but they are charging the same as the kit and you dont get the cd or the cable or mouse pad. Is that true or do they ship the other items to you later?

Kim said she was shipping this week and it should be here by Christmas

It has the 12 Days of Christmas? Now I have to have that one! I've been looking for a set of stamps with those for months. Thanks for enabling me.

From what I understood, only the trial download was available until Dec. 25th but that the trial software should keep working. (But I've been known to be wrong.)

My trial version is still working Robyn (on both the desktop and laptop).

To further assist: Michael's has the cartridges on sale for $49.99 and Hobby Lobby has them 2/$99. (Does that mean you have to buy two to get the sale price?)

My blog? How embarassing! I am just getting started and haven't even gotten time to post there (that's why it's not in my signature). My goal for the new year is a weekly post if not more. http://impressyourself.typepad.com/.
You guys are such an inspiration. I do have an SCS Gallery:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=128704
But there's only 1 thing using my Cricut in there. I've used it for some scrapbooking embellishments but that's about it. I so want to use it more!! I need to get in on the challenges I think that's another resolution!

Morning girls! I am planning on doing some Cricut stuff today. My 5 year old DS has a fever and sore throat so he really wants to snuggle a bunch. He just fell asleep on the couch so maybe I will sneak up to my Loft and create! I'm almost done with all my Christmas stuff.

I have a laptop with the Cricut software and wireless internet. I LOVE it .... I am so spoiled.

With the software, though ....... I feel the *need* to completely reconfigure my Haven .... LOL!!!!

I'm thinking that I'd like to try an ornament shaped card using shapes from George and patterned paper. I just realized that with welding and reversing, I can make any shaped card that I want - and if I use something like the Top Score envelope tool, I can pretty quickly make an envelope to match. Since I have the little bug and the trial version of the software - I'm pretty excited about trying some new tricks!
