I have always used 12x12 paper in my Cricut, but today I need to cut letters out of full sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper and can't figure out how to change the paper size. The manual says to place the paper on the cutting mat and then press the Select Paper size button and I will be able to enter the project info, but it doesn't say how to enter the info. Can anyone explain this to me?
ok, you line up the paper in the bottom corner where it tells you to normally....load the paper...use the arrow buttons to move your blade to the upper right corner in a little and down a little, when you hit select paper size it will show you on the screen what size you have set, you may need to adjust either way to make it close to 8.5 x 11..I am usually off an 1/8" or so but still works fine. Am I clear as mud???

Thanks!
I wish they had had it as a selected paper size if that make sense. I have loads that I am going to be cutting from today and I can see it getting on my nerves to have to "set it" each time. Still at least I'm not hand cutting!

It is the Cricut Expressions.
Thanks!

It is really easy. When you push the load paper button, the mat goes in. Then use the arrows to move the blade to the top right corner of the paper. Then push the "set paper size" button. It is the button just above the "unload paper" button. Then you will see the papersize on the screen.
Once again, thanks for this forum and for all the information shared! I did a search on Google for this topic and was glad to find the answer here! (when I frequent this site daily!) Ahhh!
