I just found this out tonight. March 1st, CM albums and paper will be a true 12x12. The other albums and papers are being phased out to give people enough time to finish albums with the old papers, refills and sheet protectors.

Yes ladies, it's true!! I am a CMC and I was soooo happy with this news! A lot of us CMC's are saying "it's about time!!" The old size was 12x12 including the jeeping (binding on the edge). So the actual paper was a 1/2 inch difference. I have a new T12x12 album and the height is the same as the old-so if any of you put yours on a bookcase, they will still look 'even'.
CM also has some other great products coming!! Who wants me to share the news?!!

I am so happy to hear that the new albums are the same height as the old ones! I know this is weird, but the thought of having different sized albums displayed together bothered me. Is it true that the old pages will fit in the new albums but the new pages will not fit in the old albums?
I love Creative Memories also. My daughter was a consultant, but she let her status lapse. She is in Nursing school, and has gotten into rubber stamping instead!

Okay ladies...here's some starters...
Yes, the old refill pages fit into the new albums, but the new T12 refills won't fit into the old album as there would be 1/2 " overhanging.
The new blades are a breeze I second that!!
We are coming out with a new tearing tool! New Power Palettes for the T12 sizes-and our digital line will coordinate with the PP's and our Picfolios as well. Two new styles of Paper Albums coming out. (they are very nice!). New Album Charms.
I am sooo excited about all of the changes! And I'm loving my Storybook Creator Plus Software too. I'm looking forward to incorporating digital pages with my traditional.
I just looked at their website and the True 12x12 and swivel blades are already here! Yeah, not that I need to spend money, but I have been waiting to purchase their cutting system and now that it is improved I think I can take the plunge. Plus, I hate their current 12x11 1/2 albums...I love them, but hate trimming and inevitably always forget. I'm SO HAPPY they have changed!

Ooo! You won't be sorry purchasing the new cutting blades!! Might take a moment to get used to, but then BAM!
My friend told me she never trimmed her paper....ha! She just pasted the paper down over the jeeping! So smart and funny my girl is, I never thought of not trimming it.
I'm looking for a Creative Memories 12x12 coverset album in hot pink. It is no longer available . Anyone have one that they want to sell?? Would love to make and album for my daughter with it. Thanks!!
