Default Copic and spectrum noir colors

Hi,

I did a search but I don't know how to explain really.
I'm learning to color with my spectrum noirs, and I've looked through the web for tutorials, but there are more copic tutorials than SN's.
Is there something like a chart with copic color numbers that match the spectrum noir numbers?

So I can try all the copic tutorials but with my own markers. I've tried it myself, but it's looking funny LOL especially haircolors are giving me a hard time, which seems so easy with copic.

thanks in advance =)

Smile Spectrum Noir Color Chart

Hi,

There is a chart of the 168 Spectrum Noir colours available on-line at canuckcrafts dot com (Canadian site) or crafterscompanion dot com (US site) websites. (a period instead of dot - can't post real links yet) :(

There is also blank chart available on these sites, which you can print and use your own markers to get an exact colour match.

There are also many tutorials and project examples at spectrumnoir dot com, as mentioned by clpangels.

Hope that helps ...

Sharon

thank you both =) I have the spectrum noir chart, and I know the site, but I guess I've explained it wrong. I'm looking for a comparisson between the copics and spectrum noirs. I don't know the numbers for the copics, but if copic users use for example number x, y, z for coloring hair what are the numbers for the spectrum noirs to achieve a similar look. Ugh sometimes it's no fun to have a language barrier LOL

Hope this is more clear.

and thank you for answering!

Default Spectrum

I also have been wondering this. There are a quite a few tutorials on youtube for spectrum but not as many in blogs as copics.

There is a tutorial for colouring hair of various ethnicities on the Spectrum Noir site.
The colours for Copic and for Spectrum Noir are quite different. If you know the Copic number, the SN system is simple. The letters are the colour group, the number is the intensity in that colour.
