Smile Color Marker pens

What are the best recommended color markers that are not real expensive? Has anyone used a Le Plume blender with markers? Is there a utube totorial?
Thank you. Lynn

Water based markers are usually going to be less expensive then say alcohol based markers and Le Plume is pretty good, I do prefer Tombow though.

Hello Heather,
Thank you so much for your response. I will look for the Tombow brand. I enjoyed viewing your blog. You are very talented. Blessings of your day. Lynn

If you want to try alcohol markers without breaking the bank, Bic MarkIt markers are a good option. You can get the 36-pack (I've only seen it at Target) for around $20, and the 12- and 24-packs are (obviously) less. There are no true pastels, but they blend in pretty much the same way as any other alcohol marker (I use all of mine interchangeably).

I agree with Sue about the Bic markers, and I also have the set of 36 colors. I also found they did not really have true pastels in the set, and I have used the Bics with other alcohol markers in pastel shades.

Here is the set of 36 at Amazon for a good price:

Amazon.com : BIC Mark-It color collection permanent marker, Fine Point, Assorted Colors, 36 Markers : Office Products
