Yes I have. Its interesting. tami sanders posted a beautiful card using it the other day...try looking it up by her name in the gallery.
It adds a beautiful touch of shine to little places. I would recommend the white, silver, red, and green. All perfect for those holiday cards. HTH!
Clearsnap sent me a set of Smooch to play with and I'm HOOKED! Think of it as an ink you can paint with! it's got a fab built in brush too that is semi rigid, not quite sure how exactly to describe it - but it is definitely NOT like a nail polish brush! LOL!
the colors are FAB too - nice and opaque - it only takes one "coat", and they show up just as good on black or darker papers as they do on white. they are SO pearly and shimmery, and the colors are beautiful.
they are very different from anything else that's out there, h20's and perfect pearls are more translucent. and the ink is thicker and prettier than the look you get with metallic pens.
i have several posts on my blog, i'd list the links, but i think that is a no-no, don't want to get in trouble!
but if you go to my blog (link is in my siggie) and scroll down the sidebar under archives, you'll find a search tool. just put in Smooch and you should get several projects.
hope this info helps you!

Is there any difference between Smooch and nail polish of the same type? It just looks so much like nail polish to me. I've seen it around a lot.... Archiver's carries it, but I can't get motivated to buy it just yet.
hi cynamom -
the only thing smooch and nail polish have in common is the look of the bottle! the brush is TOTALLY different than a nail polish brush, it is semi rigid and has the sharpest point that can really get into nooks and crannys. and it's an ink, not a paint; so you can move it around a bit.
curias' video does a god job of showing how it works in action.

Just wondering about the drying time. I have applied some to a piece of Clear Scraps acrylic and it doesn't seem to be drying.....I left it overnight but not dry yet. I did apply it kind of thick so that may be the problem, or maybe I didn't shake it enough.....not sure....
I applied it to a piece of Hodgepodge hardware and it never dired, also separated as I painted it on- that could have been ok or painted a second coat, but the first neve dried. Then the Red Siren is sooo close to PTI's Pure Poppy, I tried to make a button by covering a red button with it, and same thing, never dried... 3 days later I threw the button away because I kept touching things in it, lol...
I saw a avideo somewhere of someone painting a metal charm, but wonder if it ever dried for them, too-
The colors are great, and the brush is actually 'fun', lol... but for the time being, I will stick to a surface that will 'soak' up the paint.

Saw the same video and the advertisements say it can be applied to acrylic - and it CAN be applied....but shoot......not drying could be a wee bit of a problem dang it.......

I painted it on a domino. It was taking a long time to dry, so I ended up using my heat tool on it. It dried quickly and very nicely, and the colors didn't change. I used red, green gold and pearl. I guess you can't use a heat tool on acetate without it melting, but it should work just fine on metal.
Smooch does take awhile to dry on non-porous surfaces, it took 2 full days for it to dry when i used it on a Prima paintables acrylic sheet. But i had dabbed the ink on, and it was pretty thick.
i also used it on a heidi swapp ghost shape {in a project featured on my blog} where i did dry it with a heat gun.
i haven't tried it on metal, but i would think you could dry it with a heat gun. but keep in mind that it is an ink, and might wear off non-porous surfaces. so don't apply it to anything that might get a lot of wear or handling.
it dries in seconds on paper!

I love it !! Smooch is Mica Magic reinkers ink. It's also sold by Judikins under another name.
I took a class recently and my favorite application was using it to stamp on dark colored paper. Used about 3-4 different complimentary colors and it was just beautiful - the dark paper really made the ink pop! Great color selection.
We also painted metal hardware with it and we didn't have any problem with it drying on the metal.
And the little applicator/brush that it comes with is awesome - small enough to be very precise and seems really durable.
I highly recommend that you get a few to try and you'll get hooked lol....................
I had a thought about the poster who said the ink didn't dry on the metal - just a thought - but maybe put a little too much on? As I recall, it didn't take much at all to color the metal. HTH.

could have been me- no, I did it thinly, and might have needed a second coat, I did not think to heat dry it, that might have helped. Never dried on the button or the SU Hodgepodge item, although it was in the middle of the 30 days of rain, so might have been impacted by the humidity?
I could see where humidity might be a reason it wouldn't dry. The day of our class, it was clear and hot plus we were all using heat guns in the room so had the room heated up and dry - yep - that could be it
I love smooch - it has made mica painting a lot easier. Has anyone used it as ink on your clear stamps? Trying that out today - using as both the entire color for outline and as accent for a detail stamp
Really late to the party here. There are quite a few tricks you can use to get it to dry on a non porous surface.
First apply in thin coats
second if you need to heat set do so. If you heat it to long bubbles may appear and they can be smoothed right out with a finger tip or a paint brush.
Krylon Crystal Clear makes a matte finishing coat that you can apply before you begin. It gives both the Smooch and Smooch spritz a little tooth to hold onto. I hope these help.
