Dick Blick is the cheapest right now. If you use the $65 off $200 coupon, sketch markers come out to $3.32 each

Just wanted to let you know I can use both sketch and ciaos in my airbrush system. Add a bit of stickytac to the underside of your ciao so it fits the holder. Or you can use a foam square to bump it up. Either way you can use both. Sketch fit in nice and tight and click in but with some sticky-tac you can use both.

Hey there AmberAKAmom.....Looks good on the surface but this is an american company (I try to purchase from Canadian Stores) so add on shipping (it is free for only americans of 48 states) Duty and the agony of waiting for how long....Cropcircles still looks to be a better deal ....BH

Wow! Thank you so much! Without a doubt the cheapest copics I have found yet. I have searched high and low for good prices on them. www.carpediemstore.com has the very best anyway out there. Thanks for the very helpful tip!

I also ordered from oozak.com. You have to log in to get the best prices. I bought a whole set of 72. The first time I went on the price was 327.10, But when I logged in the price fell to $259. Free shipping and no tax. I placed the order yesterday and today they shipped! I CAN"T WAIT to get them!

I ordered a $100 worth from Carpe Diem last Monday and my order still shows pending. Has anyone else actually ordered from them before? I was just wandering how long you had to wait. I got free freight for ordering over a $100 and that made each marker 3.95. If I actually get them, that is an awesome price. I think it's the lowest around.

Not sure about Carpe Diem but I place an order with Oozak and I am so pleased with them. They had most of my colours I needed and refunded immediately some of the postage to Australia as they only charge what it actually costs. (Not the standard international amount automatically added on at checkout).Within hours, my order had been received, packed, and shipped. Brilliant service. Will definately order again. Their communication is brilliant.

I also ordered from Oozak and was very happy. I placed the order on a Friday morning and the markers arrived on Monday. They ship for FREE on orders of $50 or more, and they had tons of colors. The price per marker was $4.15.

Default Thanks for all the information

Okay, I'm glad to hear someone else has actually ordered from them. Hopefully that is the problem, they don't update their order status. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised on Monday when they show up.

I also placed an order with Carpe Diem last week and their website shows my order as "processing". I think I saw somewhere that it takes 3 to 5 days to process orders. I hope my order is on its way soon too. Another thing....the orders comes Federal Express and I think you have to sign for them.

Carpe Diem Orders

Just received a response to my email asking about my order of last week Monday. They say they are out of stock and are expecting a shipment in this week and then will ship pending orders out. So, our order status are correct. Bummer! Oh well, I'm very impatient. When I order something I want it right then, but that is the draw back to ordering online. It will be worth the wait for the price.

I emailed them also and they told me the same thing. The thing is that they charged my credit card last week when I placed the order. I don't like that. They shouldn't charge the card until the order is ready to go out the door. I probably won't order from then again because of that. They should tell on the website which markers are out of stock also. I guess sometimes the cheapest is not the best.

My first order with them took several days - guess they checked out my stuff? LOL!! The next time I ordered, it took no time - I got my order within a week (since I had ordered) - & it wasn't Priority!

Default Carpe Diem Orders

Finally my order from Carpe Diem shows shipped and the Fed EX # is trackable. Should have my order by Tuesday at latest. That is still only 2 full weeks. Even though it was hard to be patient, I still think it was worth the wait for the price. I also picked up about 12 more Copics at HL this last Wednesday and they had them for 30% off which made them 4.54 each. That's also not bad but their selection is definitely small. When my order shows up I will have a total of 72 and I think that is sufficient for a while. Check out a card I did yesterday.

I ordered from oozak on Wednesday evening, and got mine today!!! Pretty awesome shipping time, and decent price... It think they were $4.15 a piece or something, for the Sketch... will definitely order from oozak again! These are my first copics and I'm so excited! I already spent some time coloring today.

Same here. I ordered mine Wednesday night....Rusty shipped it out first thing Thursday morning, and I got my Copic box Saturday morning! He's awesome with the shipping.

Great customer service too...I made an order in December and was very worried that I wouldn't get it in time before my vacation. I didn't want it to sit on the porch for the week I was gone. He called me to assure me I would get it in time, and it came in two days! LOVE Oozak!!

Would anyone be willing to share what they think would be a good selection of colors to start.....say 10-20 starter colors?
Is it best to pick a few favorite colors and then buy 2-3 shades of each? What is the best color for skin?
Also what are the differences b/w original, sketch and ciao, besides the airbrush issue (which doesn't really seem to be an issue from what I've read....=) ).
Thanks in advance for any help for this beginner.....

Kirsten,
Go on youtube and do a search on "suzannejdean". She has quite a few tutorials on doing different color sets. Like a tutorial on Skin, jeans, red hair, blond hair, black hair, white clothing, et. She also has a basic on beginning. Her tutes are amazing. You'll learn a lot. Lisa

Wow! Oozak prices are great if you are registered on the site. $4.15 for sketch and $2.85 for ciao. I just ordered a bunch, just enough to get the free shipping on $50+ order. Can't wait to see how soon they ship.

My experience with carpedieumstore.com has been good- just ordered (hopefully) the last of those markers on Sunday and got the shipment tracking order today (Tuesday)- THE CHEAPEST PRICE! and they refunded the shipping charge to my credit card- when over $100.00 order. So, unless they are waiting for a shipment, they are very fast on the delivery!

You can get them on Joanns online only and use a coupon off any regular price, even when they are sale. A set with a 50% off coupon would be about $75 . The 50% off coupon is once a month, but they almost always have a 40% coupon available.

Copic Ciao Markers Set - 36PK/Brights

reg. 149.99

Coupon code right now for 50% off is TEF58B
Exp 2/16/10

Shipping is $10 for ground

I thought I'd update on my recent experiences with both CarpeDiem and Oozak. I ordered from both places. Cheapest ever prices were CD, but it took 2 FULL weeks for my markers to show up at my door. I ordered another dozen from Oozak and paid .50 per marker but had them with 3 days. Wow! It's worth the little extra to me.

Default carpe diem - free shipping

For those of you who shopped @ Carpe Diem and got the free shipping for orders over $100, how did you do it? I have over $100's worth of markers in my cart and the computer wants to charge me $14 for shipping. I can't find anything under policies or shipping stating free shipping on orders over $100. A search with the words "free shipping" yields only specific items.

Do you think they've changed their policy in the last week?

gale, thanks. That's what I get for zipping through the home page; wouldn't have scrolled down that far even if I were trying, LOL. Your opinion - would the Copic (sketch) air brush system qualify? I don't think so but wanted another interpretation.

Default Copic Markers cheap

I perused this blog on Sunday to find oozak.com. I went there and found that if you register, Copic Ciao markers drop down $1 from $3.85 to $2.85 each. In addition, free shipping drops from $60 to $50. I ordered on Sunday, they shipped on Monday and I received package today, Wednesday. Whatadeal!!!!! I am incredibly pleased with their service and low, low, lowest prices I have found anywhere for individual markers. I didn't check out their sets as I was looking for only certain colors for my granddaughter.

I happened to mention some of the colours I wanted to my Mom and...Surprise! I got them for my birthday. lol
I hope that all of you have some one as great as my Mom to buy you a set too!
Getting them as gifts really are the cheapest way to get them
