I also sent an Email to Sizzix about starting a gallery, but no response. I don't think there would be any problem if we would want to post some ideas here. That would be for any die cut machines. I have seen a Bella thread. So guess it would be all right! I borrowed this ideal from someone on SCS, but can't remember who: Teapot 2 by snowmanqueen at Splitcoaststampers
Also have one I did for a challenge: IC78 Birthday by snowmanqueen at Splitcoaststampers
Give my some of your ideas.
Carolyn

I think it's an awesome idea. I NEVER use my sizzix for cards just because of this reason. I do use them for some scrapping. Maybe...we can ask if it can be added to one of the card challenges for the week here at SCS. I'm sure we can.
It would be awesome for a site that you could list each individual die and post pics under each one. Like we have for each stampin up set. That would be awesome. You could look at ideas before you buy the die also.
This would be awesome! I have so many dies I use for school projects and a few for cards. I have the big birthday cake and saw a tutorial on CK that used the same die, and actually I REALLY liked the design and made a few using different colors. I agree, we need to have a place to post and I think it would be so cool to list the dies like the stamp sets! GREAT IDEA! How do we get this to fly?

This sounds wonderful to me, too. i'm just starting with my die "addiction" I don't scrapbook...just stamp cards and crafts. I've started to collect dies, not really using them. OM...I need help!
yes!!! what a great idea! I started "collecting" dies back in 2002 and I don't think their website has been updated much since then!!! Even the idea books weren't quite what I was looking for! I would definitely make use of a forum like this!!
I think it's a great idea to have a gallery with ideas for each die. I use mine for scrapbooking or buy one for a specific project. I mostly use them for the letters!!!!
For now, we can add Sizzix and Ellison in our description - and in the keywords section (separated by commas). That will make for some productive searches...
I'd love to see some using Sizzix and Ellison dies. Most of my newest cards use QK dies. I think they are easier to use on cards sice the images are smaller and the cute details are already built into the double dies. I've got a few examples in my gallery.
I looked at the Sizzix site yesterday and they are starting to put in a few new ideas. Not very many new dies. I also went to the Ellision site and they referred me to the Sizzix site. Just wondering what's going on. As far dies go my favorite is the Thick Cut Daisy, I have a couple cards in my gallery, if you want to check it out.

I started using several of the flower dies (sorry don't know the names off the top of my head) cut from velum and card stock. I layer them together, alternating the petals and the different paper types and fasten with a brad through the center or sometimes just dimensionals between the layers and then stickles to make a sparkly center. I got the idea from some Jolee's:
