Default Can you use Cuttlebug dies on a Sidekick

HI everyone, I am kind of new to the die cut "world" and I bought a Sizzix Sidekick. The cuttlebug dies are so much cuter though. Does anyone know if the cuttlebug dies will work on a Sidekick and what I need to do to make them work? Thanks!

Yep - the smaller (2"x2") Cuttlebug dies work perfectly in the Sidekick. Use them exactly the same way you would a Sizzix Sizzlit die - make a 'sandwich' - from the bottom up:

clear mat
CB die foam side up
paper or cardstock
second clear mat

then roll through your Sidekick.

You can also use the small CB embossing folders in the Sidekick - the ones that come in sets of 4. Just place paper or cardstock in the folder, sandwich the embossing folder between the 2 clear mats and roll through.

Have fun!

Oh I'm so glad to hear that! I just bought a sidekick (got it with my 50% off coupon at AC Moore :-D ) and I agree with wishin4time that the cuttlebug has some cute dies. I didn't want to buy any until I knew for sure. Guess I'll be cashing on on those AC Moore and Joann's coupons now!

If you live near a Hobby Lobby.. get the coupons when they have them online or in the newspaper and use them on the Cuttlebug dies. Pam
