Question BIND IT ALL VS. THE CINCH WIRES

:confusedoes anyone know if he Bind It all Wires can be used in The Cinch? I am trying to figure out which machine I should purchase. The Cinch seems to be an easier machine to use, but the wires are a lot more expensive. Any help or advice that you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have The Cinch and I purchased both O wires by The Cinch and the Bind It All. They both fit. The smallest ones didn't unless I put a shim in there.

So my answer is yes.

Grandmamichelf - thank you so much for replying. I have been agonizing over which machine to get but The Cinch seems (based on the video) to be easier to center, punch, etc. Do you love The Cinch?

I have a Cinch and I LOVE it! I'm really glad I didn't get a BIA because I want to do bigget books and albums and don't want to deal with adding a bar and other things that I BIA needs. The wires are exactly the same and I couldn't spend as much on shipping as I did on the wires. I was able to get my wires from www.bindingmachine.com
100 12 inch wires for under $40 and resonable shipping. They also ship FAST! I got black wires, black goes with everything, haha.

I have the original BIA and I love it. I have heard the Cinch is easier to use but this isn't rocket science! I have no problem using the BIA. I have seen several for sale in the Buy/Sell Forum. Have fun with whatever you buy.

I have both the Cinch and the BIA. Just wondering, if you want to use the smaller O wires (that don't work in the Cinch), couldn't you just punch your holes with the Cinch and then do the binding in the BIA???? Just a thought. I was very disappointed when I saw that the Cinch could not do a good job on the smaller O wires.

I watched a youtube video where they used a shim under the small wires and that way the Cinch can close the smaller wires. No problem

Hi, Michelle!

I was wondering if these 3/4 wires from www.bindingmachine.com work with The Cinch. Do you like them? Would like to hear your feedback before I order. Thanks in advance!

In the past I have used a paint stirring stick as a shim and it worked fine. However, I just ordered the shim from Scrapadabadoo ($4.99) and it is awesome. This company has the BEST customer service and reasonable shipping. I ordered on a Friday, and my order was delivered on Monday. How great is that!
