Default Big Shot pro. Sandwich or recipes

Hello friends. Does anyone know where I can find some sandwich recipes for the big shot pro? I know I saw it somewhere here in splitcoast I recently got one and still learning it. I have some Stampin Up letterpress and would like some other basic recipes for common things. Thank You.

I have a BS Pro, and I agree, finding recipes is not easy. I'll be following this thread to see if you get some links! I tried the BS sticky, but its hard work wading through all the posts, just to find it only mentions the BSPro, it doesn't actually have any recipes.I've got a little notebook in the well of my Pro that I put recipes in, when I find them, or I get one to work for me.

For Cuttlebug folders, mine likes
:
Base Tray
Solo Platform ( some also need solo shim)
Adapter Pad
Clear plate
Folder & cardstock
Cuttlebug 'B'plate.( some are ok with a BSP clear plate)

Note: some of the Darice folders are thicker, you will need to slim the sandwich down a bit.

Tims Movers & Shapers.
This is without a holder/magnetic sheet as I only just got one of those.
Base Tray
Adapter Pad
2 clear plates
cardstock shim
3 mylar shims
die
paper
black mat.

Alterations dies, Bigz

Base tray
clear plate
die
paper
black mat.

Tim Strip die.
Base tray
Adapter pad
solo platform
solo shim
clear plate
die
paper
clear plate.

'M'bossabilities
Base tray
Adapter pad
solo platform
thin die adapter
folder & paper
clear plate.

Like I say, this works for mine. I'd recommend taking at least one element out of each sandwich before you try them in yours. Just like the 'bug, every machine is a little different in what it needs- better to start off with a sandwich that goes through & does no embossing, than to break your machine. Thats how I work mine out- first time nothing happens, so I add a thin shim, repeat, and so on until I get a good clear emboss. Then I see if I can replace some of the shims with a plate, and so on. You should not have to force the handle to turn- if it does not start to feed without difficulty, you probably have the sandwich too thick.

Hi again, just been trying to emboss with an 'M'Bossabilites folder in my Pro. These are quite thick folders, as they are double sided. This was the sandwich that gave me the best result. Also, I got a better result by putting the folder on the stack in 'portrait' format, rather than 'landscape'.
Base Tray
Adapter Pad
Solo Platform
Solo Shim
Thin Die Adapter
'M'Bossabilies folder & cardstock
Clear Plate.

Also, on one of my plates, it gives a recipe for Sizzix Letterpress- I don't know how similar these are to the SU ones, but here it is:
Base Tray
Adapter Pad
Solo Platform
Solo Shim
Letterpress Plate
Cardstock
Clear Plate.
