Default which is better/easier to use for watercoloring?

ok..........I need to make a decision on which is better/easier to use for a beginer to use for watercoloring images...........stampin ups reinkers or stampin up watercolor crayons? I don't have the cash to buy the copics........so I need some input. And which do you prefer.......the watercolor pen or the blender pen?

thanks for some suggestions

My preference is for the reinkers and an aquapainter! Its so easy and quick!

I'd go for re-inkers too. And neither a watercolour pen nor a blender, just a couple of brushes and a pot of water - and a mini-mister, which is what I use to dilute the colours.

I think the reinkers are probably more versatile but I prefer the water color crayons. I have more control over the color and shading with them than I do with reinkers. I also prefer just an artist brush over the aquapainter.

another vote for the reinkers. you can watercolor w/ them. AND re your inkpads.
as for the brush. i'm fine with either type. but when i use an aquabrush-i never squeeze to clean w/o wiping the brush to dry it a little. always try on scrap paper before touching your "design"

Default Re-inkers

you can water color, reink your ink pad, make glimmer mist, and use them for many other techniques. Make sure you try to find a way to make a pallet for your colors, ie, a way to save the ink if you don't use it all. You can do that by using one of those inexpensive plastic paint trays (here is a link to a set of 12) and covering the tray with plastic wrap (it is ok if the ink dries a bit, water will refresh without a problem).

I use my re inkers all the time (the distress ink ones) and can't imagine not having them : )
