Heart Best TEMPORARY adhesive?

I am hoping you all can help me out. I am wanting to adhere a piece of distress watercolor cardstock to a lightweight cardstock, but I want it to be able to be removed later without it getting bent or torn. I still need it to be strong enough to not fall off easily. Any suggestions

Thanks!

This one from Scotch works as you've described:https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Remova...removable+tape

I've even used it to hold a card shut to photograph, with no damage when removed...

I don't know the answer to your question, but the Scotch temporary adhesive that looks like a glue stick ... picked one up a bit ago (with the idea of using it for making masks for my larger images) and when it goes on, it is STINKY! (Like ... this smell, nothing carcinogenic, is it?!?! Nah ...! They wouldn't do that. would they?) Once it's dry, it seems to do the trick, but yi yo, working with it is not fun.

Oh, fun fact with tape loops ... if you're going to use them to hold something that will be on a wall , the loop needs to be 'against the grain' or your item will roll down the wall as it rolls down the loop. (teacher to teacher tip, that one. ;) )

I use Tomboy removable tape runner, looks just like the permanent one (like SU SNAIL) but the tape cartridge is a different color, switch out as needed.

The pink Tombow? If so, it's my favorite adhesive and the only tape runner I use.

I love that you can reposition it and rub away the glue dots, plus you can use it to make a little square of adhesive, not just run it. Once it's on for a while, however, it's permanent. That's actually what I love. Maybe we're talking about two different adhesives though.

I'd use something low tack for easy repositioning - like Post-It tape or what Sue recommended. Unless a liquid adhesive is needed?

You mention you switch it out. Are the different adhesive cartridges interchangable? I've been wondering as I have a permanent one from a garage sale and wondered if I could refill with the dots cartridges.

As long as it's a Tombow product, they should all be switchable. At least that's been my experience.

I thought they looked like they should based on the photos. I'm off to get those then, worse case is I end up needing to order the holder and I know I want that particular size (I have the bigger one that stamps or glides on and like the adhesive but want the smaller tape for some things)

THANKS!
