Smile Best adhesive for mini books ??

I have made a few mini books but wondered what others find to be the best adhesive to be sure the books are durable and stay together. These books take a lot of time and effort and I just hate to have them come apart

I don't make mini books, but make a lot of altered journals. I find that my ATG gun works well on them to adhere the card stock to the cover and also the inside liner.

I always use Scor-Tape when putting together mini albums. After I apply the scor-tape, I take my bone folder and burnish over it just to make sure its down on the cardstock/chipboard really good. I have never had a mini album come apart with Scor-Tape. HTH!!

It depends on what part of the book I'm making. I've found that any tape type product will eventually pull apart if used on spines or any moving part. The book doesn't fall apart but the pages start to pull away spine after repeated use. I made myself books for addresses & PC passwords and after about 6 months I started to see the pages pull back and I could see the adhesive.

For moving parts and spines, I use Beacons 3-in-1 or Tombow Mono glue. I prefer glue because it actually melts into the paper.
