Been getting my refills (924) online with www.framingsupplies.com...but the site won't
come up anymore. Stores here don't carry it by the box. Anyone have a site that
carries it?
I get the same thing and need to reorder as well. There was somewhere else I ordered from last time and it was cheaper but now cannot remember. It was not 3m tape but just as good.
We get ours at the tapedepot...granted I buy the 144 roll case and share with friends, that way the tape is only 1.16 per roll. I think it is $24 for a smaller amount, sorry I can't remember what the amount is, maybe 18 rolls

I clicked on your link and the site didn't come up, but went back and typed it in and it came up. this is the address I used. http://www.framingsupplies.com/
It's tuesday, 8 a.m. on the West coast, and the framing supplies site is up and running now. I just ordered 12 rolls of 908 Gold ATG 1/4 inch tape; $3.44 a roll and almost $13 shipping. That shipping price is a rip off for sure, unless you need it tomorrow and you want UPS. But you don't get a choice.
No choice of suppliers for me right now because I'm midstream helping a retail vendor with custom Christmas orders. but next order, I will try the non-3M tape for sure. Thanks for the link!
The Tape Depot brand is the best tape I have used, and I get a better bang for my buck.
They also sell Ebay. They have sales there sometimes, and you can get the shipping free. When I ge down to two rolls I start looking.

I found the/a tape depot store on ebay. The price is less than $2 a roll and has free shipping which is a lot better price than where I had been getting my tape before. Is this the same as the tape depot's regular store with the tape everyone loves?
Frankly, I was hoping that the Tape Depot tape would be ok to use--but I was really frustrated using it. The adhesive just didn't seem to come off the roll smoothly or adhere as well...I had tons of tape boogers....I'm guessing that a good 1/4 of each roll was wasted. Even though it was cheaper, it really wasn't the bargain I was hoping for. I'm going back to the 3M tape.
To be fair, I know lots of users are thrilled with the Tape Depot tape--I do think I'm in the minority who don't like it.
the tape depot stuff is okay and worth the price, but it is nowhere near as nice as the 3m stuff. I have 2 atg's now I keep one filled with scotch for scrapbooks and the other one with the cheaper stuff for cards

oh decisions decisions...I have a confession to make. I bought an ATG gun back in MAY at a stamping/scrapbooking convention, and they didn't have any tape left...here it is 5 MONTHS LATER and I STILL haven't bought adhesive! *hangs head in shame*
I was thrown for a loop with the shipping price at framing supplies, so I wanted to keep looking -- and then I keep forgetting, LOL. I guess though, that may just be the place to go -- I guess I'll have to order enough to make it worth my while...

"Tape boogers" LOL, I've been wondering what to call them. That's just PERFECT! I have them all over the place and HATE how they happen. I notice they are far worse with the shipment I got last June and a new shipment is coming today. 3M obviously changed the tape so it is more gummy. Damp weather makes it far worse! I've noticed 3M also changed their Mounting tape, which I use instead of "Dimensionals", but they changed it for the better, for my purposes, since I only want the slightest lift off the card base.
As for the ATG change, the tape boogers drive me crazy, but I make way too many cards daily to be bothered fooling around with the little mono-tape devices and/or messing with glue.
3M tape has been the highest quality of all tapes, for several generations, according to my husband who's been selling industrial packaging supplies all his working life. So it isn't as if I can solve the booger problem by buying some other brand. Or is it? :-)
Dick Blick's sells the 3M Scotch Adhesive Transfer Tape 1/2' x 36 yards for $2.88. This is the cheapest I have found for this tape! Check their online store...
I bought a whole box of tape depot tape and I don't like it. It's not as forgiving as 3M tape. I prefer the red 3m tape and not the gold, although the gold is acid free.
I every roll of tape from tape depot has broken in the middle. I can't wait to finish off the last 6 rolls so I can buy more from framing supplies.
