Hello Everyone,
I'm not sure if this was ever posted, but here is a link to a youtube video on how to load the ATG 50. It's wonderful.

GREAT video! I am planning on getting an ATG, and the place mentioned in the video, Tape Depot, seemed to have some GREAT pricing on the tape and gun.

What a great video-thank you! My ATG50 arrived about a month ago and it's just been waiting in it's box for me to get up the nerve to try it out . . . I watched the video and it is sooo easy!! I know I'm going to love it.

From: The Tape Depot
I KNOW . . .
It's Amazing - You should all write her a note.
She is an amazing person . . .
We were so upset, because we know it is a great dispenser at a super price.
The problem was some of the frustration our users had in loading.
This video is just GREAT!!!!!

OMG!! I can't believe i've been doing it wrong. I didn't know to push the roll of tape ALL the way down, and have it fit into that slot. I thought it was fine once you got it past the top catch thing. Wow!! it's way better now!! Thanks for sharing

Tape Depot has a has a starter package on ebay for the ATG50 plus 6 rolls of tape and free shipping for 38.00. The 2 together on the tape depot website comes 48.50 (about), anyway it is a few dollars short of the free shipping for orders over $50

Saw this video before I ordered and marched straight up to my computer when it came. Loading it was a breeze thanks to that video. Yeah!

ATG 50
Can someone tell me if the ATG 50 can use the 3M brand refills and the Tape Depot brand refills? If I have done my homework correctly, this seems to be the better deal. I would appreciate any input.
Thanks so much,
Michelle

I still hate my ATG 50. The liner rolls up all wonky on the back spool and the tape rides on the far right side of the roller, hidden from sight by part of the applicator. I can never tell where it's going to go.
I wish I had just put the $25 towards another ATG 714 which I love. What an expensive lesson!

Does anyone feel that it is too big? I have some trouble with right hand weakness (MS) and I don't know if I would be able to hold it for long. I do keep going back and looking at it, but dont want to order if it won't work. Can you buy it at any local stores?
Thanks for any input.

My thoughts are the 714 is better because it is a name brand with the better warranty. 3M customer service is fantastic. There is nothing wrong with the ATG 50, but I just prefer the 714. I own the 700 (my preferred gun) and the 714. I have used the ATG50. I agree with babydal57, the tape does get wonky.
Stamp with me - the ATG50 with use the 3M brand of tapes, but I dont think they fit as well as the 7502 tapes. The spool is just slightly too large, IMO.
I buy my guns and tapes at http://armelco.powweb.com/store/page4.html . Good prices here too.

I know!! I watched the directions two or three times WITH the gun in my hand. I'm still on my first roll, so I'm sure I'll be doing it here again in a few weeks when I need to reload.
By the way, the link was included with my Tape Depot order by Tape Depot. I thought that was brilliant.
