APO Folks... ATG Tape?

Where are y'all getting tape refills for the ATG in APO Land (US overseas military bases)?

I need 1/4" regular/red roll refills for my ATG 714. I don't want to get them from the most often mentioned SCS source because while they have the best pricing per roll, their shipping to APOs is high. I purchased my ATG 714 and initial refill orders from them based on SCS raves, but I think I paid too much for shipping on these past orders. When I contacted them about my latest "APO order" they wanted $21 for USPS Priority Mail shipping on my $57 order for 24 rolls, which is no more than the size/weight of a shoebox. Is this still the best deal or is there a better source? Thanks for your help!

I thought the post office offered discounted Priority Shipping to APOs?

Hi fellow military wife... I purchased my ATG back when we were stationed in Japan. I couldn't find any online shop that ships the ATG to APO/FPO boxes. What I did was have it mailed to a relative, and then have the relative mail it to me. If you really want to have this, I guess you'll have to take extra effort to get a hold of it based on your location. Good luck!

I ship the ATG guns, rolls, and all of my store's inventory to APO addresses. They are just like regular USPS addresses, so they ship the same.

Plus, it's a flat rate, and it's free shipping after $75

I bought mine at Crop and Stick and they charge actual shipping costs to APOs. 24 rolls of 1/4" regular 924 tape is $54 and shipping would be $6. When I need refills, I'll definitely be buying from them again.

katestamps716~ Yep! USPS offers free, special "America Supports You" boxes that ship for $2 less... isn't that great! Need to get the word out... I think I'll reply back and send them the link to the info on USPS... great point!

SKICIO~ I know that's an option, but I can't stand to pay for shipping twice or bother my stateside family with my craft cravings LOL... It is odd that I can't get the ATG tape here... there's all kinds of Kokuyo tape here though ;)

No problem ;) I bought my ATG years ago, so that's the only option I had. I think it had something to do with the ATG not yet available in other countries. I'm glad to know that more of the shops can ship to APO addresses overseas Good for you!
