I'm drooling over the new Imaginsce brad maker and they have a good deal. But a good deal is only a good deal if it works out KWIM? Anyone have a review of the site - or the brad maker for that matter?
Hi, Andrea! There are many satisfied customers. Unfortunately, there are many, MANY unhappy ones as well. I haven't ordered from them myself, so I have no firsthand knowledge. From what I've seen in the various comments, it's the pre-orders that seem to cause the most problems.
Thanks for the response. I had in my head that I had read something about them that wasn't good but wasn't sure what....I hate preorders!! Always seem to be delayed etc.

I have ordered from them and have had no problems with them. There is another post about the brad maker on here. One person said she wouldn't get it. I think it does look interesting though.
I had won a cricut cartridge in an ebay auction and they had said it was shipped and then a week later, I got an e-mail saying sorry it was out of stock and they don't know when the shipment will be in but if I ordered anything else with it (which I didn't) then they would ship that right away. REALLY REALLY bad CS. I was not happy. Naturally one should put things up for auction that they KNOW is in stock.... Just check their feedback on ebay, which I regretfully forgot to do.
I have ordered from them several times with no problems. If there is fine print in the description, read it. If it is a pre-order item and they say it will arrive in August, don't count on it until Sept 1. But, their prices for Cricut Cartridges are wonderful, so I still buy from them and have no issues. Oh, and watch their bundles, depending on what you are getting it is sometimes cheaper to get things individually.
They have that brad maker at Archiver's and they are having a "make and take weekend" Aug. 7,8,9. You can see the Imaginisce i-top Brad Maker (it is in the stores now, though, with samples to view). They open an hour early on those days. I have ordered from Oh My Crafts and had no problem.
I've ordered from OH MY CRAFTS for the inexpensive embossing folders and have never had a problem with my orders or getting them. I don't pre-order anything from anywhere, so I don't know about the issues people have had with the pre-orders. I think with something like the brad maker, it'd be fun to see it in person first and see how it's done. You might be better off waiting until it's not a pre-order and seeing if you can get a better deal that way. But then I'm a deal hunter, I will wait until 6 months after a release just to get a good deal (it's a quirk of mine. One of many).
ETA: Sorry I didn't realize at first this wasn't a pre-order. You can just ignore me now. LOL
I have ordered a pre order (it seemed to take forever...but I DID get it) and I ordered my Big Shot from them....in early Dec....NO problems. So, I would agree, pre orders seem to be iffy, regular orders have had no problems

Hi Andrea. If you have a Michael's nearby, they are now carrying that tool. It is with their other tools next to the cropadile. I haven't used it yet so can't give you a review. It is $34.99 but I used a 50% off coupon I found here making it only $17.50. Hope that might help you. Angel

And yes I have a Michaels very nearby so thanks for the tip AND the coupon. My M's seems to be VERY slow getting new stuff. Last week almost all the shelves were empty with a remodel they are doing so maybe that means I'll find newer stuff. I'll definately check them out before I go and order online!!
I had a lot of issues with them. I ordered a deep cut blade housing and set of blades for my Cricut. It did not come up out of stock, they took my money, then...no blades. After I inquired, I was told that they were out of stock and they would ship when they got them. (I should add it was "group" of us ordering so some things were in stock and shipped, but not all). It tooks months to get that housing and blade.
I've ordered from them quite a bit and had problems almost every time receiving the products. Unfortunately my memory is bad enough that I kept forgetting and then ordering again. Now however I do remember and refuse to order from them anymore. I've even asked that they don't send me emails so that I'm not tempted but they still send them I just delete before I open it.
I've ordered from them once. We paid for the express shipping but it didn't come express. We told them this and they refunded the difference for the shipping. No problems with the product. I found them the most affordable though.

My experience with them was rotten! Wouldn't order from them again if they paid me.
I've ordered from them a couple of times, including a pre-order for last years CB folders, and been very happy with them. Because of a computer snafu I ended up placing a duplicate order and their CS team was very helpful - we got it all straightened out with a minimum of fuss. I am ordering straight from the website though, not through the e-bay store - maybe that's the difference?
I need a suggestion on my StampinUp Long Scallop Punch. It has started to stick and not punch very well. I really like it. How do you sharpen the Punches?

I have purchased a cart or two from them before and I do remember it seeming to take forever, but it wasn't too bad and it wasn't a pre-order item. I don't have any other problems with them.
I have ordered from O My Crafts several times and my orders have been delivered in a timely manner. I pre ordered the new cuttlebug embossing folders but it did state that they would not be delivered until mid August. . . and so I wait. I do order directly from them, never through ebay.
