Anyone NOT using their scraps from Stampin Up Sets?????
Hi All!!
I was wondering if anyone is not using (just tossing) the scrap pieces from any of their Stampin Up sets.
If anyone is willing to save up their scraps, I will send you a SASE (flat rate priority mail envelope so that you don't have to worry about weight....or even a flat rate box depending on how much you have....LOL)
I have found that they can be used around the house (such as cushions on all the cabinet doors so that they don't make so much noise, pads for chairs so that they don't ruin wood floors, etc).
With much appreciation and a big "Thank You" in advance.
ACK. I have kept mine for years, thinking I would do something clever and wonderful with them. They started reproducing while I wasn't looking...taking over a whole storage drawer that I could use for something else...so out they went about a month ago. Sorry!!
I hate it when my timing is bad.
ugh! I've been trashing all mine, too. If you need more in the future, let me know, I'll save it for ya. Don't worry about the shipping. I don't think it'll cost that much.
I (will) also have lots of Unity, Greeting Farm unmounted rubbers. they are thicker than SU's sticky stuff though.
sung1203....thank you. I've only used SU, so testing out the others would be GREAT.... maybe even a little dangerous for me.....I might start liking other brands than SU and spend even MORE money on this absolutely fantastic hobby (in my case, an addiction, really). Thanks again.....PM me when you get the others and I'll send you a SASE. I truly appreciate how kind you and others have been. Thank you all!!!!

Agghhhh, I hear ya. It is an addiction. Is there a treatment? =) I get depressed when UPS truck drives by without knocking on my door. My 4yrs old son's favorite question, "Did you get a new stamp?"
Will send you mine. Just PM me with your address. I am a hobbist-"I should be able to use it for something someday!" - so have saved the scraps (Also, have boxes that I have saved that can be used to send the scrap!). Love to send it to a place where they will be used.
So wait...you put the extra rubber on the bottom of chairs? Like cut out a circle and stick it to the chair with the rubber side on the floor? But then won't the chairs be really difficult to slide in and out from a table or when you are standing up/scooching in? Kinda like going down a slide in your sneakers? KWIM?

Paper Kissy: Yeah, it does doesn't "glide" with the rubber....but that was what I was wanting.....you would need to lift the chair slightly. I spent A LOT of money getting new hardwood floors put in so, I just wanted to protect it. Felt would have worked as well... but have you seen what they charge for the felt pieces that are used for chairs?? I was a bit surprised. I figured, since the scraps are "free", I would use those for now. Just trying to be creative and "recycling". Thank you.
Thank you to EVERYONE that has responded. I think I will have plenty with those who are sending me their scraps. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for fulfilling this request. I'm a total recycle freak and always trying to find uses for things so that they don't just end up in our landfills. Thanks again!!!
