Question 4 Vintaj Books- Are they very different from one another?

Hi all,

I'm very new to the whole crafting thing, and I just got my BigKick Vintaj. Being a retired librarian, I'd like to buy a book to help me with my new toy.

There are four different ones at Amazon. I've read through the descriptions and the reviews. It's impossible to tell how different they are from one another. I'm wondering if any here has actually looked at any of them and has an opinion.

They are:

Vintaj Mixed Metal Technique Book
Vintaj Natural Brass Mixed Metals Jewelry
Vintaj Jewelry Technique Booklet
Vintaj Jewelry Technique Book

The last two really make me wonder. The first two have the same cover! Three of the four have exactly 30 pages. It's very confusing. They are all published by Vintaj.

Thanks for any advice!

Loretta

Have you had a look at the website: Vintaj - Home There's lots of info and links to their blog & YouTube.

Thanks, Vic. I didn't realize they were a company separate from Sizzix. I'm still deciphering a lot of info.

I checked it out, and I was at least able to narrow it down to two books. I believe that "Vintaj Jewelry Technique Booklet" is a shorter version of "Vintaj Jewelry Technique Book" so that eliminated one. The other two books had almost the same exact descriptions (and longer ones) at the website. I'm going to bet they are pretty much the same as well.

And all the videos, etc. That's going to keep me busy for awhile.

Thanks again,

Loretta
