Default Which 3M Refill for Purple ATG

I hope someone can help me. When it's time to purchase refills for the purple (1/2") ATG, I can never remember which 3M tape to order. Will any 3M refill for ATGs work (as long as it's 1/2" wide) or does it have to be a certain refill? I know the tape liner winds differently than it does on my 714 dispensers. Maybe I should just discard the purple dispenser because I always spend too much time trying to find out what to order. If you can help, I would appreciate it.

Thanks, Vic. I would love to find a source for a bulk order, but at least I can use a coupon at Joann.

I haven't found it in store, so I order online. I use the online coupon code or free shipping to get them. If I'm ordering other things, I add one or two to my order so I don't run out.

I'm not 100% sure, but I know that on the pink one we can use the different width of tape. It' goes up TO 1/2in.

So if you can find the 1/8 and 1/4 in tapes you can use them as well. You can just go up to 1/2 in.

I don't have that ATG gun but I order my tape for my ATG 714 at Framing Supplies.com. I don't know if they carry tape for all the guns but you might want to check it out.

The pink one uses 1/4" tape, and the purple one uses 1/2" tape. I order mine fromThe Tape Depot. If you order in bulk, they are cheaper. I order the off-brand; and, although some people have had trouble with them, I've had only one or two rolls give me trouble - which I was able to fix.
