Default SU Large Punch Storage Question

Hi,

My husband is going to make something for me to store my large punches. Right now I have 11. What do you think would be a good number to plan for storage (that he won't have to add on to, well at least too soon). We're thinking wood rails that the punches will sit on so they're easy to see and use. I have all my smaller ones in drawers.

He made me shelves for my inkpads and now I need him to make me another one. He made a rack for my wheels and I thought there is no way I'll ever fill it, lol.

Thanks for any input.

Take a look at Nichole Heady's blog. Scroll down and you'll see how she used curtain rods to hold her mega and giga punches.

I want those scissors on the door!! I might have to use that 40% off coupon this week (if I can find them) at Hobby Lobby.

That room is a dream come true. Absolutely amazing! I love the storage idea for the punches on the back of the door, what a great use of wasted space! I love all the white--it's so clean and uncluttered!

As for the large punch storage your husband is building--i'd say make it a 5x5 cube (in other words, room for storing 25 punches. Nice even number with room for expansion!

Something that might be a little more inexpensive and save some time is the clear shoe organizers that hang in closets. It could hang from the back of your door and they come in different sizes. That way they are all stored together and out of the way and you can see exactly what your looking for. Not sure if this helps any. Good Luck
