Default SU Brads

I just got my SU order today ... I ordered a couple of the containers of the brads ... havent bought them since the colour change. Seriously, they do not divide the brads up into colours anymore??? ... They are all together in the container, with no dividers ... I find that very annoying!!!! I know its just a little complaint, but what about all those OCD people out there who wont be able to stand all those colours mixed together ...

I feel your pain! I make paper or cardstock dividers for most of my containers like that.

Yeah, my opinion (and only my opinion) is it is a cost cutting measure. 1) no more paying for the extra plastic for the divider portion 2) now they can use the same same plastic container for items with just one color or multiple colors. I know it seems like a little expense for the extra plastic but these days I feel business are cutting everything possible to reduce expenses. Again, this is only my 2 cents.

P.S. I prefer the divided containers myself.

I think maybe they re-designed it because it used to be four colors did it not? I can't remember. But now with 6 colors the dividers might make it hard to actually get your fingers in between and get them out. But I agree, it is annoying! Sorry!!!!!

I definitely preferred the divided containers for the brads. But I do like the non-divided ones for altering! That's my silver lining.

It's a bother to have them all jumbled, especially when the colors are close, like some of the glitter brads. But I undertand the need to change the container when the brads changed.

I am smiling at this thread....mostly because mine tended to get all mixed up anyway. I can understand why many people prefer them with the dividers but to be honest I hadn't even noticed they no longer came with dividers....although maybe I wondered about it when I got the antique brads??? Like many of you have already mentioned, I also like the non-divided ones for altered projects or for re-allocating to other storage.

I laughed when I got 4 containers of the spinner hands, and I could easily dump them all into one. They must just have one size container!

Now I have 3 to use for something else tho...

They do have one size....it's so that they fit in the stack and store...which is an awesome storage thing to have! I'd be really upset if stuff didn't fit in it!!!!

you know what would be awesome, a containers that had the smaller sections and small fliptop lids on each section so you can open one at a time... ahh heaven in the OCD's brain lol.

I put mine in the containers that you put beads in, separate them by colors and then they are all in there with a pop top lid. Works great and is compact.

When I read this a pill box container suddenly popped into my mind. They sell small ones and the lids pop open.

I bought a container at Walmart in the bead section. It is 10 x 6 and has 24 little round containers in it. It is clear so you can look on the top and see what you want. I keep an assortment of things in it. For my brads I have the containers that look like tic tac containers...again in the bead section at Walmart. Love these for keeping things organized and separated.
