Silhouette Portrait 2

I have $40 in the design shop to spend, which came with the machine. I noticed when looking at the cart, that it is dearer to have a svg file included. Why do I need an svg file?


I had to update the programme. It did a full install. I go in...find ALL my files ( I think they are all there)... now under "show all files" at the top. I no longer have the folders and sorting that I had done previously. Positive I saved it, but looks like what ever I did to save, did not save, not properly, anyway. Although, my non Silhouette files are there, ie Lavinia. So how do I get the programme to save all my folders when it does an update?

And finally, I have an autoblade. Was advised by Silhouette to choose AB in the programme, which I have done, but notice it does not go to the correct number once the file is sent through to the machine...any thoughts?

Hi, I too recently upgraded to a Portrait 2, and thought all my folders had been lost. What I discovered is that when you go to Library, mine has two user accounts, one called Local User, and one with my email addy as a 'Cloud' user. Just took some screen shots to illustrate.


The pic on the left shows what my Library screen looks like. Notice the Folder with the '+' in it, called Library? Click on that, and though for some weird reason it only has a number 2 in brackets next to it, you see it expand to show all your original folders.( Picture on the right).
One thing I have discovered, although both user accounts show the same folders & files, if you purchase/download files, they only appear in the 'Recent Downloads' folder in the Cloud part of the library.

Okay, not too sure about the blade, as I've only used mine once so far, and didn't really look at what happened. Is it cutting ok at the setting it's choosing? I know I've seen some discussion on this, possibly in the Silhouette Chatter sticky, so that may be the place to have a look, and ask .
