Default Shimmerz Spritz

I just seen Shimmerz Spritz on the Shimmerz blog, and I was wondering if anyone has tried it? From what I understand they came out with about 10 years ago and they have just recently redid it. Here is the link where I seen it http://shimmerzpaints.com/shimmerz-spritz.php I have all of the Shimmerz colors and I love using them, so I was wanting to know if the Spritz is just as good. Thanks for any information you can give me.

I haven't tried that brand, but it must be similar to the Glimmer Mist. They do work nicely. I made my ow spray with a travel sized hairspray and a bit of Pearl Ex! I works beautifully, and the gltter stays on the card and doesn't get all over your hands because the hairspray seals it.

I have some (I'm on the DT) and really love it! It is great coverage, doesn't 'spit' and splotch (technical terms, lol!) and the shimmer is very consistent. I've been using it on a ton of stuff (wood, fabric, chipboard, etc.) and have been loving the results. I'm really pleased with it. LMK if there is anything more specific that you were hoping to have answered!

Jennelf thank you for letting me know that it works great, I love the Shimmerz and I would like to have something to spray on to add that special touch to a project.

I do have some Pearl Ex, what is the ratio of Pearl Ex to hairspray and does it dry out if left in the bottle for a long time? Thanks.

I've found that the PearlEx tends to clog most hairspray bottles... not sure if anyone else has had this experience. You also do get "spitting" and "splotching" (to steal Jennifer's words).

It probably depends on the bottle. I put mine into a purchased atamizer, so mine hasn't been spattering or clogging up. Maybe you should run the nozzle under hot water for a while. I really shake mine up too.

I just use a pinch or two of the Pearl Ex. You can always add a bit more if you need it. It really doesn't take much at all.

How much hairspray do I use?

I did order some of the Shimmerz Spritz, but until they get here I would like to try the Pearl Ex and hairspray.

"spitting" and "splotching" ARE technical terms in paper crafting! I use the little ranger spray bottles using half and half ink/water and a pinch of pearl-ex. I also purchased some of the Radiant Rain from LumineArt. Love'em! I haven't tried the Shimmerz or Blingz ... yet.
