I try to keep scrap paper as long as it's about 2" or bigger. My question is, do you cut your bigger scraps down to a certain size to make it easier to store or do you leave it as is? Like, if you have a 12" piece you've cut on, do you cut it down & make 2-3 squares/strips or store as is?
I've been making more cards lately so my scraps are piling up. Need to get them organized!
I keep all my scraps as long as its big enough to stamp a sentiment on. I have a rolling cart that has the hanging file folders...2 colors go in each. I use either a piece of paper to divide the 2 colors or page protectors (if I have them on hand ) when i go to make a card for a class, I go to the scrap bin first...one workshop I used all scraps for 30 cards..(i have a problem I know)
I leave mine whatever size they are. I used to keep everything, but realised that I ended up with too much, so I didn't know what I did have - so now I don't keep the teeny scraps any more.

I usually just pick a punch and punch whatever I can out of scraps and have those in a container for making up quick cards. That way I can pick a base that goes with whatever scraps I'm using. I should use my scraps more but usually only if I'm in a hurry.
I donn't use much 12 inch paper. I keep small scraps in a basket, they are sorted by color into baggies. I also have file folders in a drawer where long or bigger pieces go. I don't keep tiny scraps. I don't chop them up. I do find I use them a lot.
I keep the size they are unless I decide to cut some for inchies. I have box of inchie scraps. Usually if they are under 2" I don't bother to keep them because I never seem to have the right size.
I usually leave mine as-is. I have hanging file folders, one for each color. And I put any scraps in there no matter what size. So if I cut a 1" strip off a full-sized sheet of cardstock, it goes into my scrap folder. I always look in the folders first to see if I have a scrap that would work on my project before using a full sheet.
