You can buy them used but re-sharpened from Viva Las Vegastamps for $10.95. Here's a link to the scissors.

[COLOR="Silver"][QUOTE=kimberlybimberly;6384764][FONT="Garamond"]great scissors are a must for any crafter/artist!

I didn't buy SU's Craft & Rubber scissors until recently (and I have cut hundreds and hundreds of stamps!) I personally do not prefer them at all, altho other rant about them. Maybe I am used to what I had been using for years, and teh y work well for me!

What did you use before that worked so well???

Yes! I am a piano teacher, and the first time I mounted a whole lot of stamps at once, I could not feel my middle finger on my right hand for three days! When I got my special scissors, no problem! It really relieves the pressure!

Yes, they are definately worth it!!! I have two pairs and just got them sharpened...super. I also have a pair of Tim Holtz scissors by Tonic, they work great as well and I think the price was less than SU. But if you're putting an SU order in, just add it on, you will not regret it!

YES YES YES! So worth the $ I will never mount a set without them I use them on both my SU and TAC sets and they look so much nicer. TAC also sells the Kai snips and the Kai 7 1/2" scissors LOVE THEM!

I think anyone wondering about this really really really needs to just try the SU! scissors and they'll know what we are all talking about - oh, I guess not everyone has access to do that! - it's ashame we can't do this "virtually." My friend (from another state) urgently stressed that I really did need to buy the SU! scissors w/my first order of stamp sets and I didn't understand until I tried cutting rubber w/other scissors. I think the Tim Holz are great for the TAC stamps but prefer the SU! or Kai for the rest - have tried others and there is NO comparison - to me anyway.

I too would like to know what kimberlybimberly uses or prefers.

YES, the craft scissors they are worth every penney!

They will cut the rubber like it was butter. To clean them off you can use an alcohol swab. They are in little foil packets and you can get them in the pharmacy area of a store.
