Default personalized stamps

Do you have a fave place to order your personalized stamps? I'm thinking the typical "hand made by...." or "hand stamped by....." kinds.

Default Paper angel...

http://www.paperangel.com/store/home.html

They do a nice job, and often throw in a free stamp when you order!

I ordered from Paper angel and it was a horrible experience..They were not very resonsive and my stamps took nearly TWO months to get. There is a seller on Ebay who does your personalized stamps in acrylic and she has a whole store full of designs to choose from. They are very elegent...I keep going back to her.
blessings,

Default What a great question!

I have been looking for a place to order a personalized "handmade by" stamp. Paper Angel has the perfect one for me.

Thanks for sharing the info too!

I've ordered from Paper Angel multiple times and have always been pleased. It does take a couple weeks to get the stamps.

Thanks for the input - good and bad. Still undecided; I need several. Has anyone had experience with Onyx Expressions?

I have an SU one but I'm not too happy with it. It's not etched deeply at all, nothing like their regular stamps.

I really liked paperangel at first but found the website completely annoying to work with.....no search feature.......as I added things to my cart that I really liked and went back to shopping, I had to buy "something" else to get to my cart to see what I already had in it; sounds stupid, I know. Where's the "View Shopping Cart" feature? They have a lot of great stamps which I did add to "my cart", but I was unable to view these items again so I could see and compare.......when you view your cart, you should be able to see the items that you are ordering........way too many links (ooh look!! more round stamps! click here!!!)........too confusing.....

sprtchick/amber - I'm so glad I read your post....... I almost wasted $60 bucks.
I owe you big time.

I haven't had *direct* experience with Onyx - but I've gotten a couple from Third Coast (I saw once that Val orders them in batches FROM Onyx). They aren't black, but the rubber quality was excellent. It did take a while, but the timeline was well marked on the page that I ordered from. I guess they make them in batches?
Anyhow, I got mine in good time and the rubber was excellent. I don't know if the designs are identical (or the prices) but it might be worth checking out Third Coast too.

I realize that there are good and bad experiences with all vendors. I just love the vendor on Ebay who sells the clear ones in all different types. They are beautiful stamps. I just thought upwards of 2 months and no reponses to emails from Paper Angel was inexcuseable. I did not get a response til I filed a claim with Paypal.
blessings.

Ditto -that's where I got mine from BUT please know there is a LONG LONG wait for this ebayer's stamps! It comes from Malaysia (unless they've moved!) but it's well worth the wait. I bought mine in 2006 and she said it would last for x amount of stamps before you need to replace it -- mine is long past that and still going strong!

Exclamation personalized stamps

I am a demo but I do NOT recommend S.U's personalized stamps at ALL. and haveing tgrouble getting replacement stamps as the ones I received are not cut deep enough -- the only stamps of theirs I do not like.

I would NOT recommend them to my customers. NOT NOT NOT

Default personalized

I'm actually referring to the one with your name, address web site etc.

it is hardly ledgible....

the hand stamped by is not too bad but not up to par with their other stamps.

I also have ordered two of the SU personalized stamps and they are awful. When I ordered from the Ebay store (link above) I had them from Malaysia in less than 14 days. Not too bad I think. I have ordered from her several times and always been happy with the stamps.
blessings.

I also have the Created By stamp from SU and I agree that the stamp is not etched deeply enough - the Created By is good by my actual name is very faint. I would not recommend purchasing it.

binx - I've bought a personalised stamp from Onyx Expressions and I am really happy with it. Depending on when you order you may have a bit of a wait as there is a cut off date. I'm in the UK and the delivery time was great.

I've just come across another custom stamp website and I really like the contemporary style of most of these. I've ordered one for me and a friend but I haven't got them yet. I'll post a review when I've got them.

That's who I'd recommend. They get together an order every 6 weeks.

OK. So I just placed an order with them. If I missed this cut off date I'm going to have to wait 6 weeks to get my stamp? Is that information on their site anywhere, because I didn't see it?

I checked them out - I'm headed back there to place my order.

Thanks so much and thanks, too, for binx for bringing this up.

I am back to report that I got my stamps in less than 2 weeks and they are GORGEOUS!!!! The communication is terrific - as soon as I placed my order, they sent me a very kind and gracious email with a "mock up" of my stamps, asked for my approval and in about 10 days I had my stamps.

I am THRILLED with these people and so happy I ordered from them. Thanks again, sprtchick, for recommending them.

KimberlyinMN - tried several times to get there from here - "page not found" - HOWEVER

I got thru by way of typing in cistamps.com

Just wanted to let you know.

I haven't checked them out yet, because I wanted to alert anyone who tried that link unsuccessfully to know that they might want to try cistamps.com.

After that, I dunno where to go! Haven't gotten that far yet.........looks like a very cool site with lotsa stuff!

I'm back - OMG - they have EVERYTHING! Still haven't found the "stamp" stuff, but they lack for nothing! It's gonna take me hours to go thru everything - that's why I wanted to come back right away and leave this little warning - be prepared to spend a lot of time; as for me - I won't be back for days. Hmmmmmmm.........which credit card has the highest limit? I'm in heaven...........and when Hubby finds out..........I'm in H*LL or the doghouse, but since we only have cats, guess I'm sleeping in the litter box....but it's all good.

This is where I got my handcrafted by stamp. Lisa does a fantastic job, she even sends you a proof to make sure the stamp is what you want.

And I placed an order with Onyx last weekend. They were quite obliging by allowing me to edit (other than name) a few little things.

I've ordered from them before and was also very happy with their customer service and with the stamps. I'm actually thinking about ordering some more - they have such a great selection - and their prices are very reasonable!

The eBay seller in the link above puts "rubber stamp" in the titles and then describes the stamps as being clear/acrylic. I have bad luck with the clear stamps and would prefer rubber.

Does anyone know of a rubber stamp place that makes personalized (handmade by, hand stamped by, etc.) stamps? Thanks.

I'd still suggest either Third Coast or Onyx. I do think TC is a little cheaper, but they all come from the same place (TC are NOT black - onyx is).

I just got my personalised stamps from Stamp Out Online and they're great. I chose traditional, rather than self inking stamps. The stamps are made of translucent red rubber are wood mounted and have an index label. They stamp beautifully.

As Sandi said above, Lisa sends you a proof of the stamp beforehand so you can approve the design. I would definitely buy from there again and am very happy to recommend them.
