OMG, they just finished the demo of the new PAZZLES..... and it's sooo cool! I feel better now that I didn't buy the Cricut Expressions, because the new Pazzles is a way lot better when it comes to features.
since dh is working on the computer/tv, i just taped it in hopes i'd learn something. is hsn the best place to get good deals on those products advertised? sorry, can u tell i don't watch hsn?

I checked on line at you can get it for $599.00 now the other blades cost $49.99, there is the embossiing, engraving, needle punch and the mats for those are $5.00 those was just a couple I wrote down. The tool kit is $36.00 on the Pazzle site. So you saving $40 off the price and the extra mat, and tool kit. So it's a deal if you are looking to buy one, I'm trying to tell my self I do not need it. lol
*LOL* It's a good thing I'm not actually watching it or else I may want something I'm not going to use too much. Of course, it's showing again tomorrow!

Now I know why I never watch HSN. Remember - this is only my personal opinion. First of all, the hosts are terrible - they talk a mile a minute, and the person representing the product barely gets to speak. The background music is so freakin' annoying, the camera shots are terrible! They don't get up close and show you things, and they spend about 20 freakin' minutes on 1 product! Can you tell I'm pms'ing?????
I got my CAD 2 from HSN and I've got a couple other things from there as well. I love watching the craft sales shows. I do remember the last one I saw had really weird background music and it did get annoying after a while. Oh well, that is why I TIVO the stuff and fast forward through everything that doesn't interest me. I am not a huge fan of their shipping prices. I think they are too high. You can end up paying $5 for a $20 item!

The PAZZLES machine is really cool. I love that you don't need to buy carts for it. That's the only thing I don't like about the Cricut. But I already have the cricut I don't need it, I don't need it, I don't need it.

Well, I broke down and bought it, a similar machine was on my wish list, I wanted one I could use my computer to print true fonts, and other items. And it was a good deal, I got half of shipping and one item shipped free. So now I hope it works like they said.
I bought it too. I was looking for one you don't have to pay for each image. I have a lot of punches and a Big Shot but I like to layer images. If you can scan an image or use clip art and then size it, it like they were showing it may be worth it. If it works out my sister may be getting a lot of fonts and dies.
Oh, you lucky girls! I drooled over it too, lol! I didn't seriously consider getting it, though. I got the Wishblade when they had it on special, and I haven't spent enough time on it to figure it out. I think I'll be waiting awhile to see how this Pazzles works and if there are any "quirks" in it. Then I may think about selling the WB and getting this. I mean, it EMOBSSES, for pete's sake!!
Well, I started the order, then the additional items began to come up after each prompt, then I remembered why I wasn't too overly excited in the beginning... I already have the Cricut, both the original and the Expression and almost every cartridge and now with the CD, I can almost do nearly everything that Suzanne Runyan and some of the other host have done thru-out the day, cut what ever I want from the many cartridges I have already invested in. Besides, I like a lot of the cartridges or else I never would have purchased them. Plus, the cricut mats extend the cart cut to about 23.5 as opposed to the 12" mat for the Pazzles. Had I not purchased the cricut first, I might have really considered purchasing the Pazzle. There are some extremely talented and ingenious men and women, boys and girls who are doing some super things with the CD and though they paint a pretty picture with the Pazzle , for me right now it doesn't change my thinking about the Cricut. The people at HSN and QVC do exactly what they are trained and paid to do...Promote even more so a thing when it is new even though they promoted the another item similar to the new one as being the best thing going just within a year maybe even less. Go figure. If you have purchased the Pazzle, just make sure that it is what you want. Doesn't really matter much as long as you've gotten what works for you. Have fun, and enjoy doing the things you love to do. I will say that it would be neat if some of the blades would fit the Cricut. I looked pretty closely as they demonstrated using each one and the blade housing looks a lot like the Cricut. The lady representing the Pazzle did say that they adapted the Pazzle by watching how the other companies machines worked.
Sorry -- the Cricut does NOT compare. I was looking at the CraftRobo, and almost bought it, but for the same price the Pazzle cuts 12" whereas the Robo only does 8 1/2. And the fact that this is the only machine on the market that will do ALL types of CS in one pass, not to mention thin chipboard, well, it sells itself!
If I don't own a Cricut, I would have bought this new Pazzles myself. But I just don't want to put my Cricut and a lot of cartridges I already have (and money) to waste. They still serve me well and I never complained. But the demo about Pazzles Inspiration on HSN was really really tempting, not to mention the 6 easy pay option. If nothing else better comes out after this Pazzles, I'll buy it when my Cricut finally breaks.
To the ladies who bought the Pazzles, I'll be looking forward to your posts/reviews about it when you actually have this machine in your hands
I bought the Pazzles too. The 6 flex pay and features sold me. I almost bought the Cricut Expressions last weekend during Joann's big sale, but glad I didn't. I'm a computer and scrapbook junkie so this should fit me very well.
What are your thoughts about the Crafter's Companion? I did visit the website and found most recent post to gallery and testimonials dated 2006? The concept seem good, and less expensive than ScorePal. Your thoughts please.
I have a similar machine and just love it. Someone posted above about scanning objects and it works great on my machine and I'm betting it works great on the Pazzles also.
Here's an example. A friend and I share the scallop punches. I got tired of having to get a punch from her. I made a punch, scanned it in and now i can punch as many as I want at one time or I can change the size of the punch.
I also scanned a handprint last night and I'm going to make a project using my kids hand prints that have been cut from the machine.
I wasn't going to be tempted, BUT channel surfing last night, I saw the xyron design runner, and was intrigued, it applies sentaments across a card, wavy design, run across ribbon, and lots other ideas and wanted to always to be able to apply wavy designs without learning a software technique. This has two disc. I'm going to have to get this, but they sold out on the accessory kit, so I will wait. A whole lot less stamps to buy

I bought the scorer that they were showing. Now I can do "gate" cards and get even sided folds. Loved the girl that was doing the demo, and "her English "accent. Of course, Suzanne talked a mile a minute and didn't let her have a word in edge wise.....but like others have said, the Hosts are there to sell the product, but if you only get 5 minutes to demo it, kind of gets lost in the translation.... if you know what I mean

Oooh... this has been in my wishlist for quite a while! Sometimes I'm ready to buy, then I hold back... silly me
I can't tell you how sad I was yesterday that I can't afford to buy the Pazzles. I've been waiting a long time for a machine that hooked to the computer that had that kind of ability for cutting different types of materials... I love chipboard and want a machine that cuts it. And then they showed that you can make rubber stamps with it too... ohh.... But if I won't let my husband buy a $500 tool for his wood shop then I certainly can't turn around and buy the Pazzles. Even though he is always looking at machines like that for me since he knows I want one. That flex pay was a big temptation. I managed to have some will power. I'm hoping that there will some day be a machine that can do thicker chipboard. I couldn't find any information on how thick the chipboard could be and still be cut. I loved the idea of scanning stuff in and cutting it at will. That is a really attractive feature along with the ability to use TrueType fonts.
AHHHH! Some day...
Those of you who ordered it, I'm expecting reviews here!
