I finally saved up for a Vagabond, so with coupon in hand, off I went to get one....M's has stopped carrying them. =( Found one left in stock at a local M's and the store manager wanted $300.00 dollars for it! Would not let me use a coupon. ?????

Sounds like she was saving it for herself maybe?? I still see them in ACMoore, but haven't really looked at Michaels in my area.

Just curious, how much do they normally sell for. I would have asked to see watch the manager scan the barcode and see what price came up. It seems really wrong if she was trying to save it for herself and what's up with no coupon allowed?? I don't recall seeing that in one of their many exclusions:/
The Vagabond retails for $249 at JoAnn's. It is on sale at Joann's right now for $199.
If it were me, I'd write Michael's corporate office and make a complaint. And I'd add that you are a member of a popular online stamping community and not afraid to let your voice be heard.
I Spoke to Corp. 3 times and They say they can't do anything about it. How do they not know the price they are asking? But that is what they said, could not tell me the price, would have to contact the store itself. I have seen it at Michaels for $249.00 but the manager of the store tried to tell me it was $300.00. I'm done with them. Too bad both Joann's and Michael's jerk people around. =(
You might want to check an A.C. Moore if you have one near you because the one near me will accept Michael's coupons. I happen to have Michael's, A.C.Moore and Hobby Lobby all within 2 miles of each other so they are good about taking "competitor's coupons.
Discount coupons always exclude Vagabond in my neck of the woods. Vagabond retails in stores for 249.00. I am on my third one in less than 1 year. The company has been great in replacing them. The gears evidently needed tweaking. I am praying third time is charm as it seems the others quit while I was involved in an important project.
I've never seen a Michael's coupon that excluded Sizzix, Big Shot, Vagabond or Tim Holtz specifically, whether it be the 20% off your entire purchase Q's or the 40/50% off one reg. item Q's.. It sounds like they're being jerks and arbitrarily making up policies as they go along.
