Default Marker Pen Nib Replacements?

I bought my SU markers about 4 years ago. I love them and use them all the time. I've always been happy that they can be refilled with the reinkers and I have done that frequently with several colors. But now I have some that I have used so often that I have actually worn down the marker brush end and they aren't giving quite as nice a result as they once did. I know I can buy new pens. And it's not like I haven't gotten my money's worth out of these. But I wondered if there were blank replacement nibs available somewhere so that I could replace just the part that's worn out and not the whole pen. Does anyone know of such a thing?

I didn't know you could reink them. How? That is so neat.

I've been looking for new tips for years and can't find them - the old tips lasted so much longer than the new. I'm hoping someone has a solution....

I saw some made for Copics. They look similar, but I can't tell from the tiny photos that I have seen whether they are the same size and made of the same stuff as the SU. And the price at $6 for 3 nibs plus shipping makes it as expensive as just buying new pens. I just hate being wasteful and throwing out a whole pen when only the nib is worn.

I haven't seen any place to buy the tips, but if I were in your situation, I would probably just by a replacement marker as needed. It kinda stinks though. Maybe you could call Stampin' UP and see if they offer replacement tips.

Default Stampin' Up! marker tip replacements

Check out this site called Tips 4 Markers.

They sell replacement tips for Stampin' Up! markers and they are great!
Just be sure & refill your marker with ink before you use your new tip. (Being too dry was probably what ruined it in the first place.)
