Default Looking for unrolled diaper cake tutorial

I searched the gallery and saw many tutorials for the rolled diaper cakes types. I think I may want to try the kind that is unrolled. It would seem without the rubber bands the diapers would be better preserved.
If you know of anything that might help me accomplish this, please post it here so I can check it out. Thanks so much

Here's a cute one: http://www.amazingdiapercakes.com/page/page/4139824.htm Scroll down to the cute brown/pink polka dot one!

I think you could also make one with the middle one rolled up (no need for a rubber band) and then just wrap the rest of the diapers around until you have the size you want!

Here's a good video to watch:

When I made one recently, I put a section of wrapping paper tube up the center so that the layers stayed together. But with the flat spiral wrap type you want, the layers stack nicely and don't fall off each other as readily.
