Those look FUN! I wasn't too thrilled with the new Labels 4, Deckled Rectangles or Inverted Scallops, so I was thinking there was nothing for me this time! But I hadn't seen those yet!
Thanks for sharing!

I was not too sure about the inverted scallops until I saw how Becca integrated them with the regular scalloped nesties. You can see it in this Amazing Paper Grace blog post. She did this example a few days before she debuted the new octagons. Click on the picture to go to her blog post:
She was not using them as an outside shape, like they were shown in the debut post, but instead to cut a scalloped opening INSIDE a shape - totally different!
As an outside edge, I have a ton of seashell and mermaid stamps. They remind me of waves, so would be a fun shape for those cards!

I'm in LOVE with the inverted scallops, too! Becca's example is gorgeous! Here's a link to a card I did with them showing how cool they look paired with the regular scallops, too! They are amazing together!!
Out of all the new dies, I don't think there is one that I don't like! The previews have been really terrific because each one is a little different style. They are certainly not "same old, same old" which is easy to do when working with similar products. They are doing a great job.
Wow, I am running out of storage space... not good...
LOVE the new octagons (I teach math, so octogons have always have always held a special place in my heart). Do they have smooth sided octagons too? Can't wait!

Yes, ma'am -- a large and a small "classic" set (smooth), to coordinate with the scalloped octagon sets!
I love the octagons, scalloped octagons, inverted scallops, and labels 4. However, I JUST put in an order for the pinking circles, hearts, scalloped hearts, and labels 1. Yikes! I think at least now I have everything I want from the older ones.
I need to stop seeing all these cool samples. Every time I convince myself I reallllllly don't need something, I see a card like the one up there (Where's an arrow when I need one? ), and I decide I have to have it. There goes the budget.
just bought my first nestabilities and have the revolution by Quick Kutzs is there a special sandwich for using them in this machine
You can use the same sandwich you use for your quickutz dies. For embossing, replace the regular cutting pad with the thinner embossing pad and add an embossing mat, which is a thin piece of flexible material, like foam or rubber. I use fun foam from Michaels.
These work really well in the revolution!
