Default Has anyone tried Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock

I've just acquired a heap of markers but I'm struggling with paper.

Most of the papers that everyone recommends are no available easily in Australia and postage from the US is prohibitive.

I can get the Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Premium Cardstock and wondered if it was worth trying.

I have the Copic blending card but I hate the grey cast it has with a passion.

Has anyone tried both and can tell me what the SN card is like in comparison?

I have never tried the Spectrum Noir cardstock, but it seems to me an email to Kaisercraft is in order. I am surprised that they haven't found a way to take care of you all with something nice for alcohol markers that isn't Copic. :(

Funny you should mention that, I heard a rumour along those lines only yesterday (didn't include paper though).

I suppose it is likely especially since there was an Australian brand of paper there for a while called Make-it-Colour.

I've bought it too and love it. I hear rumors that it is actually the Neenah Solar White cardstock.

I have fed it through my laser printer and it does great, just curls a little at one end from the printer rollers. That's not a big problem.

Thanks for the info.

If it is Neenah, then its unlikely to have the grey tint like the Copic card. I will research further...

Yes, I have used it with my Spectrum Noir markers (bought at Crafter's Companion). It is very nice.

This paper is so smooth, I love working on it with the Spectrum Noir markers. I haven't found one I like better.

Have any of you noticed if there is the grey look to the paper like there is with the copic paper?
