Default Great news-120lb accent paper is back! :D

Great news on Accent 120 lb C/S at Amazon-it is back!

After watching for a year they had a message "we are out of it but if you order it, we will try to get it back and wont charge you till we do and ship it"

So I did. And they did. Just came in last night. Whoot!

I just checked-now it is in stock.

120 lb for $12.56 but it is also only 150 sheets so if you want the 250 sheets in a normal ream....it would be $25.12 to get two packs (and 300 sheets instead of 250)...way less than a ream of Neenah 110 lb. 16pt cover smooth, Accent Opaque Digital for digital printing (so might be good for digi stamps?) I first heard about it from Jennifer McGuire who suggested it as a sub for Neenah. If you are not a prime member, $25 of stuff shipped from AZ gets you free delivery (ie 2 pks)

It is not exactly the same but I find it extremely useful. I have not tried to do alcohol coloring on it but I seem to remember people said they did and it was fine? Maybe someone can comment on that.

I color on the 80 lb with alcohol markers and it works fine. I am not sure I need the 120 lb. I just got the 100 lb last week and that is enough to last a few years, unless I go nuts. I did place the 120 lb in my cart to save for later. I will decide soon, probably.

I agree. The 120 lb. is overkill for me.

I guess I like the heavy papers for 3D cards for more stability or a base for thin DPs...and just saves me money over the Neenah.

It is good to know though that we can use markers on this. Thanks Lisa!

I'm about 3/4 of the way through my ream of 120lb Accent, but I think I'm going to switch to the 100lb or back to Neenah 110lb. I found 120lb to be too thick for me, I mail most of my cards and I like adding dimensions and layers. I should save the rest of my ream for single layer cards.

If you make your own mini books or art journals, the 120 lb. is good for base pages.

I find the 100# Accent is heavy enough for card bases - thanks for reminding me I needed to order!

Thanks for this notice. I love thick paper for 3D projects like Kathy Orta projects. Eileen Hull book and box dies. I'm glad the manufacturer is giving us choices.
