Default Gina K paper

I just received my GianaK luxury white paper..I really like the thickness, and it feels soooo smooth..But side by side the Georgia Pacific is a much brighter white. The Gina K looks like a Creamy White, and I even checked the invoice again to see if for sure I order the luxury white, and I did. I am having trouble blending with my copics on the GinaK, but that is probably just a me error..

It is just a tad creamier which I personally like. I think it has a slightly softer look and makes the colors pop more.

I hadn't noticed...now I'm going to have to go look. Although I have to say, creamy white or white....I LOVE that stuff. It's my go to paper now and I wonder how I ever made a card without it!

If you have been using a paper like Georgia Pacific (which is very soft and soaks up lots of ink) and you switched to Gina K (which is denser and won't pull so much ink from the marker) it may just take some time to get used to the difference. I've always used GP and I loved it... I was used to just how much ink was necessary to blend smoothly. When I switched papers (I wanted to try a bunch of new ones) I did have to adjust a bit to the way it blended. When you find a paper you want to work with... practice with it a bit first before jumping in to color a full image. Get used to how it reacts with your markers. Each paper will be a bit different and takes some "practice".

Hang in there... Gina's paper is amazing and once you work with it for a bit you will LOVE it!

Aw, thanks guys! I am so glad you like the card stock.
As far as color, our white is the EXACY same white as Stampin' Up Whisper White. SU's has a coating and ours does not but it's exactly the same color.

It's a little bit creamier than GP but if you put it side-by-side with our ivory, you can really see the difference.

Gina - your paper made me realize just how "dingy" my GP paper was!!! LOL I had always use the GP but then when I put some samples together of pieces I did on both GP and Gina K I was SHOCKED by how much whiter and brighter Gina's was! Thanks for supplying such a wonderful product for us!

I could not agree more! And while this luxury card stock is so wonderful for all of you artists out there.... I really love it the most because -- as a card base -- it just looks and feels like something I would pay for! I use all kinds of card stock for layering/stamping- but only use Gina's luxury card stock for my card bases now.

I just received my first order of Gina K Luxury White card stock this week. It is wonderful for copics! It was highly recommended by Suzanne Dean. This is all I will use for coloring with copics from now on!

Just bought the Gina K Pure Luxury. LOVE how it feels! But I am having trouble with my Copics looking smeary/streaky. Any suggestions?
