Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could chime in on where they get their foam tape from? I had a wonderful massive roll and got into shaker card making craze and it is now gone!
I would like something sticky, I'm about quality and do not want to buy something cheap for the sake of it being cheap and then having the card fall apart.
Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks,
michele

I use the BIG 3M foam tape I bought at Staples. I am on my 2nd roll. It is expensive but I think more economical in this quantity. Also, I use my Staples reward dollars when I purchase this particular item. The first one lasted 5+ years or so. You can cut it into any size, shape or width.
These are the times I wished I live in America. We never have coupons, vouchers or big discounts in our Office Supply places just expensive tapes. If I buy at the dollar shops well you get what you paid for.....

So true - I once tried some from the 2 store out of curiosity, and ended up using glue with it.But, just recently when I was in a local art shop (I work just down the road from an art college), they had some cheap foam tape on one of the displays near the front of the shop, and it sticks like the dickens. I'll be going back for more .
Normally I use the Scotch Foam Tape also, but I was just working on a project and ran out of foam with 3 cards to go......so I just took a sheet of fun foam....picked out two round Spellbinders to make a frame the size I needed and attached it using Glossy Accents. Worked in a pinch...just make sure the Glossy Accents is applied in a solid line so whatever you are using for the shaker part doesn't escape.
Good to know, Diane and Dini. I need to order this tape. I've had a huge stash of foam dimensionals which I've been using for quite a while, and haven't needed anything. But my stash is dwindling and I need a good substitute.

When I first started stamping a bought a small roll of Scotch foam tape. When it ran out, I bought a cheaper brand. Ended up throwing it out. Went back to Scotch and never strayed again.

I had some very, very old Scotch foam tape that my daughter bought when she was in high school [she graduated in '86!] and thought I'd try using it since I ran out of my favorite foam squares. It worked great; I used up the 4 small rolls we had and then bought the huge roll on Amazon after I saw Jennifer McGuire's videos using it. Now I cut my own small squares and it will last a long, long time!
