YES! Well...at least in my opinion. I love mine and buy each new one that comes out in an SU catalog.

You can see some tips for use and links to various other crafters tips and projects with them on my blog. Input Letterpress in the search box near the top of the page and you'll find several posts.

In addition to the traditional letterpressing you can also use them with ink like a background stamp on paper or on femo clay. Or just run paper through for a quick impression with no ink at all. They make for quick and colorful card backgrounds or focal images. Or textured pieces. Even just versamark on them gives a wonderful impression and subtle look. While they aren't everyone's cup of tea I can't seem to stop using them. I recently used the Fancy Fan letterpress plate to make a gingerbread styled impressed roof for a series of birdhouses. It was a subtle look but added a lot. In some ways they are very much like the Texturz plates if you have ever used those. I do like them better than those but they are similar.

Wow, thanks for all the info. I checked out your blog and some of the others. Guess I'll have to look into getting a couple of letterpress plates. :o)
