Question Cuttlebug and incomplete cuts!! HELP!!!

Hello,

I've had my cuttlebug for a few months now and I have a few cuttlebug dies that do incomplete cuts. Anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions on what I can do to make it work. I am sandwiching them properly..."A", "B", die (cutting side up), "B". Thanks for the help.

Have your 'B' plates becomed bowed (rounded)? I find that sometimes if the 'B' plate is too curved that the dies do not cut properly.

You may need to add a piece or 2 of extra paper/cardstock as shims in order to get the right amount of pressure when you die-cut. Some Cuttlebugs are "looser" than others so sometimes you have to experiment to find the right fit for yours. I just cut an extra piece of cheap cardstock and layer it with the piece of paper I'm cutting. Just don't add so much that you can't turn the handle easily. If you try to force it, you can break your Cuttlebug. Good luck!

For cutting, the sandwich I use is A plate, B plate, cardstock, die blade down, then C (for cutting) plate. And I run it through then back again.
