Default CTMH Ink Question

Does anyone know who makes CTMH black ink?

I have no less than 6 brands of black. I can't get a good impression with either.

I hate to buy a CTMH brand if it's not branded.

TIA!

I had problems getting a good impression until I started putting the little foam square that comes in the CTMH stamp sets under my paper. Then, ta-da, perfect impressions.

CTMH manufactures there own ink, I have there Archival Black and it's great! My all time favorite black ink is Palette Noir it's a hybrid and it stamps a true black, I've never had any problems with mine and I've had it several years.

I think Palette Noir is what I ended up using. Wasn't really happy w/ it though.

The ink just doesn't take well on the image. I'll try the pad next time.

I seasoned the image too.

Default CTMH

I have been using CTMH inks for over a year and have never had trouble getting a crisp stamped image. I do use the CTMH stamps and use the foam square under the paper I am stamping to ensure a perfectly clear image.
As a side note: before I used CTMH I found that sometimes it wasn't the ink that was making the image blurry or uneven, it was the stamp... HTH

I don't mind buying a CTMH black if it gives a clear, crisp image w/ their stamps.
