Default Copic Background Colouring Tutorial

Hi Everyone,

I am in search of an online toutorial on a colouring backgrounds using copics silimar to the following cards.

Can anyone help?

Hi, Linda here...this just so happens to be my card so who better to explain how I did it! Copics were not used for the background. Only the image was coloured with copics then I used prismacolor pencils and gamsol (OMS) to create the shading below her feet and to her left. Then I cut the image with an oval nestability and leaving it in place, I sponged ink around the edge. Yes, you could also do this with a copic airbrush but this is MUCH faster. I like to use either pigment, or chalk ink and a sponge dauber when I do this because you get a much softer look than if you tried it with dye ink.
