Default Can my nesties cut paper backing?

I am wondering if my nesties will cut through the cardboard backing from paper packs and the like. About the thickness of cereal boxes?

Will it work if I cover with DSP paper and then try and cut?

TIA!

I've cut cereal packet (literally, not backing from paper packs which is probably a bit heavier isn't it?) with mine but that's about the limit of it I think so probably a covering of DSP would take it over the limit. I don't see why you couldn't try though, the worst that will happen is that it won't make a cut through and you'll have wasted a bit of card!

Thanks for your reply Joanne. I'll try it on Friday when I will have some time. I just didn't want to ruin my cutters.

You won't ruin the nestabilities by trying.

The Spellbinders dies do cut thin chip like cereal boxes.

Here are a couple of tips!

* Run chipboard and die through your machine two times because you are pushing the limits of the die.
* Even if it looks like it might not have cut all the way through, usually you can "pop" it out.

Hope this helps!
