I am not an expert by any means on the BIA as I just got it this year as a Christmas gift.
To answer some of your questions:
1. I have punched 4 pages at one time ~ not tried more yet
2. I have made several small "books" at about 4" X 4" and used cereal boxes covered with paper as covers. I was able to punch the cover and back at the same time.
3. There is a guide that comes with the pink BIA
4. It is very easy to use and not hard on the hands at all
5. It is light at about 3 lbs but also sturdy ~ there is a "foot: extension that slides out
6. The pink is the newer version with some improvements
7. It can punch chip board, fabric covered covers, canvas, acrylic and I am sure much more
8. Yes, I really like it and am sure as I learn more about how to use the BIA I will love it.

I watched a couple of YouTube vids but I have no sound and the vids kept freezing so it wasn't super helpful and I gave up! LOL!
1. How many pages can you punch at a time?
2. What is the max amount of pages that can be bound at a time?
3. How hard is it to line it up so your holes are evenly spaced? Is there a guide bar like on border punches to help with this?
4. How hard on the hands is it to use? Does it take a lot of strength to use?
5. How heavy is it?
6. Which is better - pink or blue or are they the same?
7. How thick of material can it punch?
8. And most important - do you love it, do you like it, do you hate it or somewhere in between? Would you recommend it to your best crafting buddy?
