I'm getting one, finally. Should be here today or tomorrow. For those of you who use these: what should I know before starting with mine? You know, so I don't have to learn from making mistakes!?

www.framingsupplies.com has a video that covers everything you need to know to get started. Just be sure that you load the tape correctly and you should not have any problems.

ok, it came today. I have it threaded... so far so good.

how much do I need to use on a card?

It sticks really good. For card making, What I do is just apply on 2 sides of the paper or cardstock, and it adheres really well. Other people apply just on the corners. I guess it's all up to you
