Default arghhh...deco. strip billboard question

I was excited to try the decorative strip billboard that came with the big shot package...however...the letters stick onto the board and it is very hard to get them out. Is this right? Am I doing something wrong? I have spent way too much time trying to dig out the cardstock letters once they are cut.

Also...the clear plastic piece that goes on top...it curves up now after the first use. Is this right?

Thanks ladies!

Mary

I think the curling is ok just flip and turn over your clear cutting plate. I am having some problems with a few of my letters sticking too. I've noticed that it is getting better with use. I'll wait to see what others have to say about this.

With sizzlets and sizzlet die strips, as you use them the foam compresses and they get easier to use. I'd run it through your machine several times and get it compressed down, then it will work a lot better.

Your plate is going to warp - just rotate and flip with each pass and it will last longer. Also I use one plate as the cutting and one plate as the bottom and keep them that way until the cutting plate wears out - then I get a new pair, take the bottom one and put it on top to cut into, and a new one on the bottom. My plates last me about 2 months but I use my machine a LOT.
