Default Another new die cutting machine

Here is a video of another new die cutting machine. This one says you never need shims, because you set the pressure on the rollers for any die . Here is also a copy of an email I got from Ecstasy. It also said they cut hundreds of dies with no wear or warping on the plates --Humm-m-m-

I would be interested if anyone has seen this in a demo other than a video. How well does it cut those really detailed dies.

I like the idea of being able to adjust the pressure. I would like to see one in person also!

Well finally they are getting closer! When I got my Cuttlebug I said that all the playing around with shims was a waste of precious card making time. I wondered why they didn't design one that was something like the old (very old) wringer washers that our Mother's/Grandmother's used (Great Grandmothers to you young ladies/men). They had a large screw at the top middle that you turned to increase the pressure between the rollers. I think they had some way of popping open if there was too much pressure as well. This new Press Boss machine's slide dial must work similarly but I guess it is limited to the 18 positions; maybe that's enough though. Too bad it isn't at least wide enough for an 8.5" piece of paper. Hopefully we will see a comparable North American one come out soon. Anyone out there got contacts with the manufacturers? I tried to contact someone at Provocraft with my idea a long time ago and they never responded to my emails. I should have tried to contact Spellbinders or Big Shot. I just figured someone else would think of the same thing sooner or later....and so finally they have.
